Barkley Sound Lodge

Just got home from an amazing 4 days at Barkley sound lodge. Nothing short of blown away by the scenery, fishing and most importantly the staff. The guides are awesome out here, lots of great conversation and knowledge about the area. Definitely will be returning here for round two.Great work Kelly and team!

Worked out great. End of season. Have the place to our selves. 13 salmon and 3 Halibut in to days. What a fantastic fishing experience. Great food and a great guide in Tim.

What an amazing time I had at Barkley sound lodge. Great staff, great fishing and just an amazing place to be. I would highly recommend Barkley Sound Lodge for anyone looking for a great west coast fishing trip.

Took the family to this Lovely place for 3 days of fishing. The location is out of this world and so are the scenery and the fishing!The staff and the guides were so nice and and helpful. Going again for sure.

It was a great place, clean room, good shower, good food and just a wonderful time. I certainly would go back. Had a good kayak outing. Nice games room and there were some amazing guitar playing guests. Just a trip to remember. Thanks

Great trip took our boat and limited out, back at lodge by noon . speacil Thaanks to Kelly and the GREAT STAFF. Barb and I think you should give little JACKSON a staff also

What a great lodge and great crew. Saw more wildlife then one could name. Food was great and the after fish beers around the fire was superb. Nothing beats hearing stories of peoples first fish caught on the pacific. The guides kept us in stiches with some great jokes and stories throughout the day. If by chance someone isn't up to fishing there are plenty of activities to keep busy at the lodge with Kayaks, Books and Board Games.They aren't shy about sharing a secret or two as our guide was more than happy to show me the correct way to fillet a fish so it's twice the meat in half the time.

First off and by far one of the coolest things was that the Barkley Sound Lodge is a unique floating lodge just on the edge of the Pacific ocean. I come to find out the only floating fishing lodge on Vancouver Island making it that much cooler.The rooms were clean with a good shower. We enjoyed good food courtesy of Dan the cook Our experience was just an all around great time. Our guide Darcy was pretty awesome, and we had some great conversations as we pulled in Hali and a few salmon from his secret spots!Defiantly will be back to fill another cooler with fish, hopefully sooner than later.Thanks again Kelly for an Experience like no other...a Father-Brother-Son trip we will never forget.

An amazing West Coast oasis!!! This gem is tucked away at the end of a channel where it opens up into a small bay with a floating lodge. They were working on several upgrades and additions to enhance the current facilities. It's a perfect location for a bit of a cyber holiday, but has wifi if you need it. Really good food and plenty of it! A great fish cleaning station with plenty of freezer storage.
