Momtaz Bakery & Kabob

My children and I are from out of town and were looking for a mom and pop place for lunch. We stopped at Momtaz Bakery and it was such a happy find! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. And the food was delicious! We had the chicken thigh and beef kebab sandwiches. They were made to order and were really flavourful and tasty. Their homemade pita-like bread is very pillowy and fresh. We bought a bag to go. The prices are really reasonable. A great little take-out spot (with a few indoor seats). We'll be back the next time we're in Richmond Hill!

I used to get Sangak and Taftun bread from this bakery which was great. We got koobideh and chicken kebab recently which was great. The price is great with the quality. I really recomend this place.

We are so happy to trust Momtaz food with our biggest day of our lives. This is the best Persian food catering in Toronto. We had amazing experiences ordering appetizer and main food for both our engagement and wedding ceremonies and we can not be more happy and satisfied with the food and service. Everything was so delicious with a beautiful design and so organized. The food was warm and ready to serve all guests all the time. Soraya joon is a great person inside and out and very professional. She did everything she could to do what we asked for and even better. The service was fantastic. I highly recommend Momtaz Food for any of your big occasions. Good persian food, very authentic and a mom & pop takeout feel. Their bread is fresh and delicious and it makes you feel that you are having home cooked meals. Good place for Persian home cooked food or food that tastes like it.

K. Just ate here with the wife. It was amaaaaaaazing!!!! I don’t eat Persian often but I know good Persian food and everything here was great. The quality of the Kabob was excellent, juicy and not too seasoned which is nice cause overall the food tasted lite but heavy enough for those who just want to carb up. I definitely felt full and that I had just eaten something substantial. The people who own this restaurant are really nice. The prices are super reasonable for the about of food your getting.I recommend buying their 4 dollar bread. It’s 20 inch massive pitas that are soft and chewy. Definitely recommend. People are so nice here and take pride in what they are offering.

I had a fantastic experience ordering takeout from Momtaz food. The store and kitchen were hands down the cleanest, and the food packaging was carefully done. Their portion sizes were lovely and the kebabs and dishes tasted great. I am so glad I tried this place out! I would recommend trying their Tahchin.
