Got the 4 items on rice combo. Tons of meat that came in the box of rice. The boiled egg that came with it was not peeled and was sliced in half. Good thing the egg shells were in tact. That was a bummer. The taste of the bbq pork and roasted pork was good but not the best I've had. Overall a great value for what your getting. 11 dollars for a ton of food and it comes with either tea or soup.

One of the two popular places in Markham place. In my opinion, the quality here is pretty standard, if not average. The charsiew is a bit dry, the duck is quite gamey and the chicken is not as flavourful. The best item I had here was the roasted pork but the meat still has a gamey smell after. Price is reasonable and portion is big.

We got BBQ Pork & Roasted Pork on Rice. The portion was AMAZING, it came loaded with tender, flavourful BBQ Pork, and the Roasted Pork was INSANELY crispy, meaty, well-seasoned, served with side Veggies on a bed of Rice! This also came with a side Soup, the value totally can’t be beat! Couldn’t forget about the Ginger Scallion Sauce! Overall, we thought this spot’s Chinese BBQ Meats quality is more consistent than the other!

This bbq stand is located in the food court at First Markham Place where they offer a selection of meat combos on rice or noodle soup and comes with your choice of a cold tea or soup. Unfortunately both orders of food were completely cold which made it difficult to enjoy. The flavouring was mild and the skin of the pork was super crispy and seasoned well. The portion sizes were reasonable compared to the price but based on my experience I would not return, maybe you’d have better luck going right at lunchtime.

If you're a fan of authentic Cantonese bbq, then you have to try this place! The menu offers a great selection of meats and sides, all cooked to perfection.I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious dishes!

I ordered their BBQ pork/roasted pork and soy chicken/roasted pork rice. Lot's of meat and it is in a huge portion, the rice also comes with either a daily soup or drink, staff are friendly and nice. The only drawback is that the rice is not hot enough since it is pre-packed in the container.

This is still one of our favorite spots for cheat day eats. The portions are smaller, and the price is now $9.00 (two-meat combo), but still a good deal. The service is consistently friendly, which is a bonus. I find the rice is wet and sticky, not sure if this is the way they make it, or they’re just rushed. It kind of ruins the overall taste, but the bbq meats are tender. We went a few times during off-peak hours and the meats were dried out, so even though line-ups are longer, we try to go when it’s busy.Cold herbal tea/soymilk or soup is includedCash only

The food is reliably good with the roast pork and roast duck my favourites. The meat selections on rice come with some cabbage and you will be asked if you would like sauce to be added and either soup or tea. As of November 2, 2021, prices of most combos are now $8+tax, which is an increase of about a dollar over the previous price. It's still a genuinely good value for the consistent high quality and quantity they provide. If you have not tried Chinese style roast pork or duck or other items, this is a great place to do so. The man who usually cuts the meat has tremendous skills, as does the kitchen, and lady at the front is nice. Enjoy!

The first clue this place is pretty special is the full wrap around line up that I saw when popping in for dinner. Great old school chopped meat and rice. In a slice of sublime irony, they are right next to a vegan spot.

Great BBQ meat takeout meals for affordable prices inside the First Markham Place food court. There always seems to be a line up, while the other food stalls are not busy. I would recommend trying them out. Meals come with either a soup or drink.
