The great ocean restaurant is lovely. Their sushi is great and has different combinations of ingredients to make a roll. The Philadelphia roll has cream cheese in it. I’ve never had a roll that has had cream cheese and tasted so good. When its a humid and hot day, I would not recommend this place. Last time I checked they didn’t have an AC. Maybe it has changed I don’t know. But this place has lovely food. I would recommend this place.

The food here is great. We ordered the Vegetarian Platter $11.25 (veg noodles, veg fried rice, mixed veg, veg spring roll) and also the Black Pepper Steak with Onions $10.95. The food was delicious and vegetables very fresh. We had leftovers for another meal. They have all you can eat options here.

Was passing by St.Cathrines and decided to eat at this place because of the high rating on google reviews but after going here I don’t see the hype. It was dead and the sushi was very mediocre and didn’t taste the best. Presentation was also not the usual. I was expecting to be served sashimi on ice as it usually is but it was served on thin slices of carrots. Very disappointed. I will say the udon noodles and the meats they serve here is better than the sushi which is odd. Price is on the good side 25.99 for dinner isn’t bad but it was not worth the quality but maybe the quantity. Also they didn’t have chocolate ice cream but they do have lycee jello and mango ice cream. If you want decent sushi come here, but if you want something amazing go else where.

Have been there twice, recently for a birthday celebration and we never enjoyed anything as much as that meal. Getting to try all sorts of different then normal dishes, all which were beautifully presented and totally delish! They even provided a slice of birthday cake to the birthday girl. We really had so much fun and can't wait to go back again. Prices are pretty fair as well.

Great Ocean Sushi Chinese & Thai Cuisine
Just ordered from this place for the first time and it's some of the best sushi I've ever had. Delivery was incredibly fast (approx. 30 minutes) and the price was very fair for the amount, and quality of food. It even came with soup as an extra with no additional charge. Definitely recommend.

I always enjoy my experience here. With my family or friends. It is not too high end like the Wind and East (or what was once East). Atmosphere is odd and distorted and music is really...soothing.Food themselves have been very consistent and nothing to hate. That is why I give it 4 stars. It is good. It is worth the money.Edit take out is also worth the money

It is a great place if you want to try a variety of Asian cuisine. You can choose from Japanese, Chinese, or Thai. The food is very flavourable and you receive a good portion. Prices are in line with other Chinese restaurants and even may be on the lower end of the scale. Ordered the dinner for two plus two additional dishes which came to $51 The staff are very friendly but not the quickest and speak very little English. We placed a take out order for 6pm and didn't receive our food until 6:20pm with only 6 customers in the dining room. Another notable difference is their sweet and sour chicken balls. They are small and not shaped like a ball but instead are pieces. (See picture) Will be back.to try other dishes as well.
