Rented a Uhaul here for my sisters move. The process went smoothly and the owner was thorough at explaining everything and had already put the dolleys and blankets in the uhaul. The location was easy to park at too in front of the business which was nice!

Hands down best Uhaul dealer in Vancouer. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Excellent experience with the truck. I go out of my way to use this dealer since I have only had good experiences with them compared to other dealers.

The guy who owns the place wrongfully accused me of being late despite my reservation in writing saying I was still over an hour prior to the time, he was aggressive and condescending and after telling me it’s a 24h rental, he accused me again of being late and told me I won’t get 24h because it’s my fault, and didn’t make any sense instead acting like a child he kept piling on more aggression, more vindictive behaviours and eventually pushed me to call him out on it, then he hung up. Don’t deal with this location, they’re completely unable to treat people like humans. It was the worst customer service I’ve ever heard and he was taking out his frustrations on the world around him… avoid at all cost ;)

Never book a U-Haul truck at this location. Today we had the worst experience ever. We booked a cargo van yesterday as we were moving tonight. We got there at the scheduled time and they were closed. Nobody contacted us saying that they were closing and we wouldn’t be able to pick up the truck! I’ve managed to get the owner's phone number, tried to call him many times and no answer at all, straight to voicemail. Contacted U-Haul and the customer service was very helpful and found us another location. U-Haul also informed us that this location's hour is supposed to be until 6:30 pm. Our reservation was for 6 pm. We were calling and texting them to let them know that we were on our way and that the traffic was really bad. The owner knew we were on our way and just didn’t care and turned off his phone. That’s just unacceptable! I’m beyond frustrated. I used to work with U-Haul as a business partner through the storage facilities I used to manage in BC and situations like this never happened at our sites. We always ensured that our customers would get their vehicles as we know that if you’re renting it’s because you need it and time is sensitive as we make arrangements and commitments. So I now really well that my complain here is legitimate. Due to this nonsense we had so much trouble rescheduling and rearranging our moving, not to mention the financial loss. If you can’t communicate properly with your customers you shouldn’t be in this business. This treatment today just shows that you don’t care about the customers either to your company’s reputation.

Best experience I’ve ever had with a neighborhood dealer. Fred was communicative and friendly, the truck I ordered was there and ready to go! I’m so relieved to have gotten my trip organized and completed in such short notice, which wouldn’t have happened without Fred’s great service!

Fred was helpful in showing me how to pick up the van online and also with drop-off. The only issue is with the online U-Haul site, which could use some improvement.

Helpful and straight-shooting owner. Uhaul general phone number messed up our reservation but Fred (like astair) quickly solved the issue for us and got us on the road with one of his trucks. Straight forward and affordable. Thanks, guys!
