I was selling my minivan and called this dealer to inquire about a wholesale deal. I spoke to Daniel Chervonyi and he was great to work with. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and fair. I had inquired with two other dealers prior to Oakridge Ford and, of all of them, I had the best impression of this dealer based on my positive interactions with Daniel and his Sales Manager, Tony Propadalo. They offered me a competitive price and had my cheque waiting for me on the day we had agreed. It was a smooth and seamless transaction. I noticed they did a full reconditioning (including machining front rotors and replacing rear brakes) on my van just as they said they would before offering for sale on their lot. As great ambassadors of the company, these guys most definitely deserve recognition. I would recommend them to anyone to buy or sell if you’re in the market. I had a great experience buying my vehicle here! Andrea was very helpful, knowledgeable, kind and professional and I didn’t feel pressured to buy. She made sure I knew what I was getting into with this purchase. All other staff I dealt with were also helpful and nice. A surprisingly pleasant car buying experience compared to a lot of other dealerships out there that are too driven to sell and don’t care about your needs and limitations. On today’s episode of no thank you Ford:Months ago, when I was newly pregnant, I went to Oakridge Ford, after being at another location (Cotrac Ford Lincoln), that overlooked my concern with my vehicle, stating they couldn’t smell the fumes that had been leaking into my vehicle.Staff at OF said “oh wow, ya we totally smell it” but chalked it up to “it’s the undercoating you had done on your car” which was done four months prior.It was suggested to me by their service manager that I not use heat and/or AC because of the smell and have the air filter replaced. I did as they said, booked another appointment, changed the filter, but was left without any change to the smell. Even after telling them the entire time we have had these visits and maintenance work done on my vehicle their only solution for a pregnant person was to roll the windows down in the middle of winter, so that I could still use the heat if it was a really cold day.Now that it’s summer, months later, and my mileage is over the 60,000k for exhaust warranty, (which it was under originally) magically I have a check engine light on my dash and my “exhaust has a leak that could be coming into your car” and “I’m really sorry but it’s not covered under your extended warranty coverage”.I feel taken advantage of because I trusted them to keep me safe as their safety policy was the reason I bought BOTH of my vehicles from them in the first place and now I’m even more concerned of the long term effects that their negligence may have on myself and/or my unborn baby.And now on top, I’m stuck with a bill that should never have happened had either establishment taken my claims seriously in the first place. I have gone to other shops as other options, but they all advise to go back to Ford so that I don’t ruin the extended warranty I have left - 4 years left of “full coverage”.I suppose I should just be thankful that they waived the diagnostic fee of $160 when they didn’t even out my vehicle on a hoist, or open the hood, to have a better look.Feeling defeated, but rant over.***UPDATE*** no one has returned my calls or texts to rectify this problem. Not to mention - that may be what is written on your invoices but that is not what I was told. So that’s really worrisome

Dealing with Norman James was wonderful!He's knowledgeable, friendly and understanding! Not once did i feel i was being forced to buy. Norman answered all my questions at the dealership and even on his day off! He went as far as to highlight things i missed when checking the vehicle for myself.Delivery, paperwork at the business office, demeanour, professionalism and a no pressure environment - on point!Definitely be my dealership AND salesman of choice when purchasing my next car.

My wife and I just purchased a new Escape from Norm James. Norm was great from start to finish, he was the first person willing to work with us after other dealerships didn’t have the decency to write back to us.We were initially on the fence to trade in our previous generation Escape, but Norm was patient with us as we thought things through and provided us the info we needed to make a decision.Once we made a deal, Norm kept in touch with us with the progress of the new vehicle as it made its long journey from the plant in Louisville to London.A couple of minor roadblocks appeared after delivery regarding extra accessories, but Norm and Dan the Sales Manager were very quick and prompt to correct things.If you need a Ford, please visit Norm and the crew at Oakridge, they will make it worthwhile!

We met Norm James 3 1/2 years ago when we bought our second Escape. He was very professional and caring. He kept in touch with us. We moved to northern Ontario and couldn't find anything at the local dealerships. Then decided to Norm a call.In October of 2022 we decided to purchase a hybrid Escape so Norm ordered us a new one. It was canceled later by Ford due to end of model year. So then we reordered a 2023 model. After six months we finally took delivery. All through the order process Norm kept in contact with updates. When we picked up the new Escape in early May I couldn't tell who was more excited, us or Norm. When we get our next Escape I know who we'll be going see. Great job as usual Norm. Keep in touch.Doug
