Beautiful retreat centre! Very welcoming and peaceful. Great meals. They have different Christian books and cards available for purchase. Would love to return for another retreat.

My first retreat there was over 30 years ago. A Women’s Retreat Weekend. Talk was on different types of prayer, one was on Franciscans. Needless to say I found a Secular Franciscan Fraternity and have just celebrated 31 years since making my Profession. Always found peace there many, many times. Remember Fr. The engagement encounter is great. Really let’s you talk constructively to your partner and makes you think about why you’re getting married. We learned new things about each other and left the weekend closer as a couple. Father Peter is friendly and Kathy & Tom we’re so nice! They were all such a pleasure to learn from. Food was great and grounds were beautiful. Rooms were clean and have a personal washroom/shower. Wish we could’ve spent more time outdoors and maybe did more games like trust/get to really know each other better, because the days could get a big long talking so much. Would recommend every couple looking to get married to take some couples classes and this is a great options for Christans!

Did the engaged Couples Retreat and it was a great experience. Small bedrooms, Father Peter is great and if you get the honor of meeting Beny and Zeny you will love them as well. Food is good and the activities they have you do if taken seriously can really help different aspects of your relationship. The grounds are well kept and peaceful.

Amazing experience.

I must say before going to our engaged encounter retreat my fiancée and I didn't know what to expect from this weekend. After all we are very happy with our decision with going here. I was nervous and had anxiety about it for no reason but it's just the way I am. We felt very welcomed by everyone and not judged by anyone. We really did enjoy our time together spent here . I do believe Father Peter is truly amazing. He made this experience a good one with especially with adding some funny jokes. Benny and Zennie (married couple) are also amazing people they are so funny loving and caring. They are so cute together and I'm sad they are leaving to Vancouver because they are a great example for engaged couples and inspiring but I'm happy they are going to be with family but they will be missed. I hope they have a safe and fun trip to Vancouver to be with there family. We also met lots of very nice couples while attending the weekend sessions. I cannot complain or have any negative things to say about our experience here ! Keep up the great work everyone !! I encourage couples to do this engaged encounter weekend.
