Beautiful restaurant. They serve food you can't find at just any ol' place. 3 of us had different dishes and they were all awesome! Definitely gonna keep this place on my list next time I'm in Olds. Prices were reasonable, dishes were creative, and our server was awesome!

Stopped by for a light snack before going to watch a slo-pitch game with friends. Super friendly service and nice patio.We had the Asian Lettuce Wraps, which were just OK. Heavy on the rice and a wee bit too light on the fish - and not enough sauce to make the dish sparkle.The appetizer salt and pepper wings were good, but it was a somewhat smaller amount than we expected for the price.Star of the short stop was definitely the brownie - really yummy.We’d stop in again sometime and give the menu more of a chance to strut its stuff.

Braised pork belly rice bowl. Pork belly was so over cook. Felt like they served burnt ends. Maybe because the pieces were so thin is why it was burnt. Could barely stick my fork in the meat. Server was great. If this is the quality of food. I would not recommend this establishment for the price that is being spent for a meal.

Every dish I have tried has been marvelous, drinks are great, can't go wrong with half priced wings on Wednesday! All the staff are super friendly, no matter how busy they are everything comes out quick. If you're adventurous with your burgers the burger of the month is usually pretty amazing and part of the proceeds goes to charity!Seriously an amazing establishment.

Went for dinner at Grouchy Daddy's last night for Father's Day with my husband, daughter, future son in law and his parents. I will NOT go back to this restaurant and will NOT be recommending this restaurant to anyone. I ordered Asian Lettuce Wrap to find that I had bugs (quite a few - one's with wings) on the leaves. When the waitress put down the plate, first thing I noticed is that on the ridge of one of the romaine lettuce leaves were going bad - black on the edges. Then to see that there were bugs on each of the leaves. Told waitress, she apologized and said that there is a new chef in the back and that they are receiving some complaints. Obviously the lettuce was not washed or checked before coming out. I said that maybe they should have some better quality control. I ended up ordering the fish tacos. Now I am questioning, as well as our family, if there is anything else that could be wrong with our meals. How clean is it in the kitchen?? and who is cooking our meals?? Maybe a health inspector should check out this cleanliness of this restaurant. After we finished our meal, the waitress came back to say that they would be offering a complimentary dessert because of this. I declined and confirmed with her that I would not be charged for my meal. She confirmed this. We ended up paying for my meal (fish tacos) $19. You think that because of this inconvenience(BUGS on the lettuce!) that Grouchy Daddy's could not charge me for my meal altogether!!! but to only offer me a complimentary dessert that was $8-$9!! I NEVER complain when I go to a restaurant, but this was outrageous. So be careful when you go to this restaurant and check over your meal. This was supposed to be a nice meal out for Father's Day.

When our power went out we went hunting for a place to eat. This place was one of the only ones open. The food was actually very good. It is a very loud atmosphere as it's very open and nothing to deflect the sound.I ordered a beef dip with a salad. When it arrived it wasn't explained to me which liquid one was the dip. We had a half cup filled with coffee and another which I thought was salad dressing as there seemed to not be anything on my salad. My mistake I poured the dip sauce on my salad. I then asked for sauce for my beef dip to find out I used the wrong one. On that note my salad was ruined and I received a replacement sandwich dip. The waitress knew what had happened. I commented to my husband if she was a good waitress she would have immediately brought me a new salad, knowing mine was drowning in beef sauce. My salad was only the little side on the side of my plate there wouldn't have even been a cost to the restaurant.

So so SO good! Service was amazing, menu was SO big and beyond impressive. It was difficult making a choice as to what to have for dinner, but once we did, our food came out so quickly despite the fact that the restaurant was on the busier side. And when it did, it was all so delicious and a nice, hefty portion. Grouch’s is definitely a hidden gem! We will absolutely be back!

Great find in a smallish town. Not a lot of vegetarian options but enough for a mixed party. My companions had the Montreal Sandwich with salad. Dressing was excellent and they enjoyed their lunch. I had the salad from the summer special list. I asked for the lunch size but they brought the full size. It was delicious. Fresh blueberries, feta and other veggies with a poppy seed dressing. They had a bit of a lunch rush and the service was stretched. The pita and tzatziki was okay. The pita was lovely and warm but the tzatziki was just okay and not much of it. This is primarily a burger place and the portions on other tables looked great. Worth a try for omnivores looking for something other than fast food.

I ate there 3x in the same week just to be able to give a decent reveiw. Twice I ate in and once I had the take out. Firstly it is expensive for what you get. Know this going in. Steak sandwich with a side salad and a glass of beer 39$ The pictures should be attached, the steak would be covered by your finger and if the meat wasn't about to turn I would be surprised. I asked for rare and not what I got. Micro greens and choice of side, the 3 slivers of sprouts would hardly be considered a micro green". If you want a steak sandwich drive to Innisfail

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday and it was relatively busy, but they found a spot for us right away. Food was decent, and service was good. Order was taken and the food was brought out quickly. I had the Beef Dip on a Pretzel bun and it was quite good. I definitely would come back and would recommend to others.
