Catherine was amazing to work with! From the moment we met her, we knew we'd be in good hands. She is so personable and organized, and crafted such a wonderful customized ceremony for us. She was there for any questions we had leading up to our big day and always answered promptly. She is so friendly and professional. She even reviewed our vows that my husband and I wrote ourselves to make sure that they aligned well, and she provided comments and suggestions wherever she thought was needed. Catherine is a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend her to any couple for their big day.

Catherine was amazing to work with! She is highly organized, professional and calm, which took away so much of our wedding stress. She took the time to get to know us to create a beautiful personalized ceremony, worked with our ASL interpreter to ensure the ceremony was accessible for our whole family, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. As a nervous bride, I really appreciated Catherine’s check-in email the day of the wedding, and her pre-ceremony pep talk. We cannot recommend Catherine enough!

Catherine was an absolute gem to work with for our ceremony. She answered all of our questions and helped make the legal part of getting married super simple for us. She was also willing to make the formal part of the wedding very simple and down to earth. She helped a very dear friend of ours perform the ceremony on our wedding day by coaching him and offering guidance and answering questions. Thanks to her help and teaching he knocked it out of the park and attributed a lot of that to Catherine. She’s also just a friendly, sweet, patient person who obviously loves what she does and makes you feel really special.

We worked with Catherine for two components of our wedding. First, Catherine officiated a beautiful and intimate ceremony for our legal marriage on the Friday of our wedding weekend. Catherine travelled to meet us at our preferred location in Ottawa and took great care in ensuring all of the paperwork was completed and submitted. Secondly, Catherine offered her ceremony coaching services to one of our closest friends so that he could serve as our officiant for the ceremony we held with all of our family and friends at our wedding reception on the Saturday of our wedding weekend. Catherine took time to learn about us and our friend, using her amazing skills as a professional officiant to help craft a flawless ceremony that was both special to us as a couple and appreciated by all of our guests. I cannot say enough good things about Catherine. I would strongly recommend her to anyone seeking a wedding officiant services.

I found Catherine through a friend who used her services. I went with the lavish ceremony package (I had 13 people). It was an intimate backyard wedding. I had a budget and knew I could not skip out on hiring an officiant. Catherine has charisma and fits in perfectly with her smile and radiates kindness. She is calm, friendly, and has a good sense of humour. Her speech was lovely and personal to our story. Thank you for doing such a great job. Catherine was an incredible officiant for our ceremony. She walked us through all of the legal/admin part of marriage, and she listened to all of our requests (we didn't want any language about giving away the bride, and obeying the husband etc). She even offered to do a bilingual ceremony in case any of our french family didn't speak english!Her ability to connect with us as a couple and capture our love story in a personalized and meaningful way made for an unforgettable experience. I honestly can’t recommend Catherine enough. She made our ceremony incredibly personal. It is amazing how she can craft together something so beautiful. My husband and I had people at our wedding ask how long we had known Catherine, they assumed it was a friend marrying us. That’s how tailored to us and heartfelt the ceremony was. I only have amazing things to say about our experience with Merry Fairy weddings. My husband and I got married last April and we were nervous about having an at home wedding because we weren't too sure what we needed. we found Merry Fairy weddings online and decided to contact the company. Turns out the company is run by an awesome woman named Catherine. Catherine not only helped us with everything we needed for the legal side of getting married but also made our wedding day extremely special and memorable. The questions she asked ahead of time, helped her create a personalized ceremony that made our families shed tears. we were so happy and touched that our day was made specifically about us and not just a general wedding. Catherine made us feel like we were having a wedding with 300 people even though we only had 12. She can truly make your day unique. We have been married for almost 2 months and we have been recommending Merry Fairy weddings to anyone who wants a great personalized, worry free and reasonably priced wedding.Catherine, our family and I would like to truly thank you for everything.
