Mistiso's Place Vacation Rentals

Excellent place to stay if you want to be downtown. Only a block from the Kootenay Coop. The kitchen and dining room are great for cooking your own meals. It was so nice hanging out there that we did not end up going out to dinner at all. Maria is a superb host!

We had a great stay, owner was very helpful as I was having some tech issues she made checking in a breeze. The suite we stayed in was the 2 bedroom very spacious and beautiful with nice antique furniture and a big kitchen .. spa tub was a treat for our daughter aswell. Location is great we will definitely return.

We had a very nice stay in the lower suite. It was stocked with all the utensils and appliances you would need. Location was excellent with restaurants, bars, and shops all within easy walking distance. I would definitely stay here again when back in Nelson.

Me and my group of friends had fantastic weekend in Nelson staying at Mistiso’s Place in the Purcell Suite.Great little spot in the Heart of Nelson, felt super cosy with a very homely vibe. Warm heated floors and a bathtub with jets made our evenings after big days at the mountain that much more relaxing.Maria was lovely, meeting us at the property and I couldn’t recommend this accommodation more as I will definitely be booking here on my next stop in Nelson. If your coming to Nelson stay here!

We had the opportunity to visit Mistiso's Place Bunkie Land and we had a great experience and loved the location. If you're looking for a fun tiny home to vacation or staycation at, look no further. Maria is a wonderful host and the property is lovely. Everything is clean and brand new. Highly recommend.

I loved my stay at Mistiso's place. The accommodation was perfect. The spacious rooms and the beds so comfortable.The kitchen is very well equipped. The dining room could accommodate 8 people which allowed me to invite my children who live in Nelson. Maria was available and the exchanges with her were very cordial.I would definitely go back there.

Our weekend getaway home was lovely. The rooms were comfortably appointed with quality furnishings and art that presented a warm comfortable atmosphere. Kitchen was well equipped. I felt at ease there as soon as I walked in. Parking is literally right outside the door and the location makes all downtown Nelson walkable - even for an old guy. This place gets a calm solid 5-star rating.What it not calm is Maria! What a dynamic bundle of energy who obviously loves and enjoys her town. Ask for a dining recommendation and she gives us 10 even though we are only there for the weekend. Ask her what we should do, and she has half a dozen ideas for our 2 days. Wander about town and find her dancing in the clubs, haranguing in the hardware store or joking with the church ladies at a dance performance. I would go back and sleep on the lawn just to interact with Maria!This place is great and what a wonderful weekend we had.

BEST PLACE EVER! I live in the Kootenays but call this my second home away from home. Sometimes I need a local staycation OR a place for our touring performers to stay in, and this is always my first choice! Maris is super kind and wonderful to work with. The place is cozy, spacious and welcoming. Can't wait for my next stay!

Recently, my husband and I spent a month at Mistiso's. Maria is an amazing hostess and has thought of all the small touches from a warm couch blanket to a well-equipped kitchen. The bed, sheets, and pillow were amazing, every sleep was a great sleep. Although Mistiso's is right downtown and close to all amenities it's also very quiet, and cozy, and has a hideaway feel. We arrived to an incredibly clean check in with an easy door code and heated beautiful floors. The shower has great pressure and hot hot water for an amazing tub soak. Wifi was strong, the cable TV was an added bonus. Parking was unbelievably convenient. I highly recommend Mistiso's in Nelson. Excellent value especially during the shoulder season.

Superb one bedroom suite in the historical centre of Nelson. Spacious apartment with style and details to a t in the living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Cozy radiant floor heating throughout.
