Bad service! I didn’t finish my first word they just hanged up the phone!

I've been with this doctor's office for years and I've always had a decent time there. While I will admit their customer service is not AMAZING, they are efficient at what they do. They always answer my questions clearly and to the point, and my doctor, Dr. Denise Chan, is always friendly when I come in. With that being said, they are no longer taking new patients, so just be aware of that before calling in.

Embarrassingly poor people skills and very rude conduct. Called to inquire about new patient acceptance, and the response was an abrupt NO" and the phone was hung up."

Dr. Denise Chan is great, I appreciate her a lot as my doctor. But their receptionist is horrible. Every time I speak with her, it leaves an unpleasant experience- she has been rude, unhelpful and her tone of voice is just not made for customer service. It's not the first time which is why I felt compelled to leave this review. Honestly, Aqua Medical Centre should strongly consider replacing their receptionist- since its quite clear she doesn't like her job (why else would she be so rude all the time)- probably best for all parties if she either quit or let go with cause. Or put her through some sort of professional training on how to treat people especially in a patient facing role. Please consider all the negative reviews that have been left for your clinic, because it seems quite consistent with a problem with your receptionist.

Highly recommend Dr. Angela Shen. She's AMAZING with a wealth of knowledge. She takes such a great care of her patients, always takes her time with us, and answers any question we have in mind in great details. We are very grateful and feel luckying that she's willing to take us in as her patients knowing she's stopped taking new clients a while back and the waitlist is long. The medical center also has a dentistry and will try it for sure in the future. Thanks Dr. Shen!!

I don't believe I am treated well as a patient. Called this morning because my hands are swollen from a bad cat bit and wanted to see the doctor today. The reception answered sorry clinc is fully booked. I asked what can I do. The reception answered call the emergency or go to a walk in clinic. The reception hangs up on me before I finished asking for the next available booking. Called back a few times before she answers the next booking is next week. I got the feeling she don't want me there. The clinic rarely calls me back after test results. I guess the results are good so they don't call back. The doctor got me mixed up with another patient results and keep laughing at me afterwards. I know it's funny to have some serious bad results mixed with mines accidentally, but it felt like the doctor don't really treat me kindly. Half of the time now I am treated by a student doctor looking through my records and awkwardly trying to help me. I feel the clinic just doesn't value my feelings or well being. The relationship between me and this clinic just degrades over the years, nor do I know where to give feedback to the clinic. I constantly feel the clinic is just too over loaded with patients to give quality service. This is pretty bad compared to the retired family doctors I used to have.
