Thornhill Child Care - Dover Centre

The daycare takes them to places and has before and after school program. Great hours of operation, works well for me and my two children. My daughter has never complained, she is happy and so that makesme happy.

This daycare is a real hidden gem. I have done a lot of leg work with looking for quality childcare and this place has really set the standards bar high!The staff are so welcoming and kind. They have great knowledge and experience with child development and take the time and commitment to forming lasting, secure, and warm relationships with the children. The staff could easily describe how my child's day was with specific examples - which was greatly appreciated when my son was very young and learning to communicate.The rooms are designed with the child first in mind. A beautiful variety of toys and fun atmosphere greeted my son each day. The outdoor playground is spacious with real trees and grass.Each day we arrived to a pleasant aroma of delicious food. The cook ensured that there was a healthy variety of food, often incorporating meals from a variety of cultures.I HIGHLY recommend this daycare!

Before bringing my daughter here I had to struggle to pay high fees for her to attend a Montessori program because. it was closest to where I lived at the time and was one of the few places that offered preschool with before and after care included. When we moved to Dover I was concerned about the new Daycare which is more affrodable than any other program I have ever heard of and does not use the Montessori model.My daughter has been attending for more than two years now and has learned more and become better adjusted than any of the time she spent in her prior program. The children are always provided with activities that fit their interest and are not regelated to one paticular activity or subject, which sounds like it would be chaos, but it is the furthest thing from it! The teachers and leaders are adept at keeping the children engaged and participating with appropriate behaviour. The kids learn how to navigate relationships in an age appropriate manner while doing everything else.I LOVE Thornhill Dover and I hope my daughter gets to stay until she ages out.

Our family has been with Thornhill Dover Centre for over 10+ years now. The daycare staff are not only qualified, but they take pride in their jobs. From room to room you can see the passionate care being giving to all of the children.The food the children are provided with is always nutritional and fresh as they have a chef on site. Always fresh fruits and veggies and various options for those picky eaters" .I truly recommend this childcare center!"

I love this daycare. We had to leave because of the pandemic. And as we moved to a different place, we had no choice but find a daycare that it's closer to our place. But if I will be given the chance, I would like to go back here. All the staff are nice. Kids eats healthy food. I love it! I really really do love it!
