One of red deer's hidden gems! The plants around the wetland are untamed and beautiful! There's lots of neat bridges that go over the pond. It's lovely to walk further west up the road the wetland is on to michiner hill and to watch the sunset from there.

One of Red Deer's hidden gems for nature lovers. It has docks, bridges, benches, and paved trails. It's in a great area; I've lived here for years and have never encountered any sketchy people. There is lots of wildlife, and it's adjacent to the Gaetz Lakes hiking trails with access through Michener Park.

Always pleasant. Good walk for all ages...connects to the Red Deer trail system. Quite a bit of wildlife. Kept clean with no signs of undesirable elements. Safe for kids and their parents. Good dog walking area too.

Great little spot! Be it a jogger, couple, individual, dog walkers, ect. Nice people and they do a pretty decent job of cleaning up their dogs poop! Spring is beautiful here

This is where my husband proposed to me. This is where I used to go for runs every day. The loop is the perfect size; it's just like a track. And it's far enough away from busy streets so you can *almost* forget you are still in the city.
