I have never felt compelled to leave review in my life, as I have been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, and have seen my fair share of individuals “living” on these kind of postings, venting and creating a make believe career out of it! You know who you are!However this clinics reception is quite possibly the most ridiculous I’ve seen in the city! I could go into more detail, but it’s too long a story. Let’s just say, I received a call yesterday (01/30/23-appointment date), and today (01/31/23) to which I just returned their call. Possibly to tell me about how I missed my appointment yesterday? Which I attempted to cancel 6 times, the week before, over a period of 2 days. 2 days of being placed on hold every time without the receptionist ever returning to me (5-8 minutes at a time).Due to not being able to make contact, I informed my GP’s office (who offered to try and contact them). No operational website or email address to contact them either! So I called after hours and left a msg on their voice mail, stating my request to cancel my appointment. Now after said weekend, I’m being informed by this clinic that I missed my appointment, and whether I want to reschedule? Did you even check your voicemails? Even my GP’s reception didn’t understand why they were trying to give me a reminder the day of said appointment, or even contact me the day after? Especially if I left a msg of cancellation the week before? Luckily, nothing about a cancellation fee was brought up, which I was really hoping/expecting for, or my words would be far more animated.I’m sure the doctors and their assistants are kind and professional there, however they’re support staff (reception) does not reflect on them in the same manner! Do I want to reschedule, haha you must be kidding right? Give your head a shake! Receptionist, or first points of contact, take note!

Can’t wait for our doctor to move out.The parking is extremely expensive, their charges are very unreasonable given that most visitors are patients.They have one elevator only and it takes for every to move between the 2 floors.No waiting areas, hard access, really nothing good to report.The parking though, really annoying.

My husband was scheduled for Cataract Surgery Nov 2 . He called in every week like suggested by his MD and to possibly get on a cancellation list . Two weeks before he was to have his surgery the same girl he has been calling called and said his surgery was cancelled. The normal thing to do was to ask why after waiting for 6 mo. Was the appointment cancelled . Without any apology or giving a reason in her abrupt voice her response was “ I’m only the messenger ‘ what kind of professional institute responds like that !

I have been coming to Bow River Professional Center for many, many years and have had nothing but tremendous results both from my Dentist, Dr. Kim Scott and Dr. Katayoon Shojael and have nothing but GREAT things to say about each Dr.Recently, however, I have been through the hard and arduous experience of have to most of my natural teeth replaced with full dentures (top and bottom) and Dr. Katayoon is the Super-lady Dentist that got me through this experience....and for that Dr. Katayoon I truly Thank-you for all your Compassion and Experience you leant to me. You really are THE BEST.

Staff are friendly enough but my appointment was at 2:00 and it is now 4:00 and am yet to see the ophthalmologist. When they booked my appointment I was told it would be 1.5-2 hours so that’s what I plugged the meter for. I’ve had to run out and extend my meter and we’re now at $13.50 in parking charges and still no dr. Annoyed doesn’t even describe my mood right now. No need to book this many people in just so we can sit and wait. Ridiculous.

This clinic is unorganized, rude and unprofessional. I saw a specialist here in 2018 and got a phone call in 2023 saying I had an appointment. When I asked what it was for they ignored me and I was barely able to ask where the clinic was before they hung up. I see specialists on a regular so I thought it was maybe a 5 year follow up. Then I showed up and I didn't have an appointment. They called the wrong Clark. I was upset that they had wasted by my time (The clinic is an hour round trip from my house) and asked them to at least pay for my parking and they refused. AVOID this place.

No wonder this clinic has almost 2 stars. Appointment at 10:30am, still here at 1pm. They overbook their schedule and fill the waiting room to the brim and make you wait over an hour and a half for the appointment, they had my mother fill out forms *after* dilating her eyes, they made her wait for another entire hour while one technician had her hour long lunch break. This place doesn't care about your time. They didn't warn her that she should legally be driving even though they'd seen her weeks before the appointment day and they'd done tests on her, so she drove 2000 kilometers for a vacation. This place needs a serious overhaul.

If I could give zero stars I would. Clinic always reschedules appointments last minute, citing scheduling error. Once in a while I get, but this happens at least every 4th appointment. Appointments never start on time anyways, typical wait is 30-45 minutes. Doctors are clearly overbooked and no systems in place to improve scheduling or improve experience for patients. Staff don't seem to care, literally cut off mid-sentence when confirming an appointment for my family member. Just the worst experience every time.

This clinic is awesome. I've been going to both the contact lens clinic as well as the optometrist Dr. Patrick Wu and Ophthalmologist Dr. Peter Huang. Everyone in this clinic is kind and helpful. Most recently, I had issue with the competency of my insurance company while processing a claim. They needed additional documents from the eye clinic. The receptionist I spoke with promptly pulled up the invoice and had Dr. Wu added the necessary correction so the claim could be processed. This all happened in the span of an afternoon and the receptionist called to update me on what was happening. Amazing service! Thank you!

28 people in waiting room - 8 standing at any one time. Obviously focused on $$$$ only! Unclean. Stacks & stacks of private medical files in the examination room while I waited -- anyone could have access. Looked like the place hadn't been cleaned in 5 years! And the Dr. tried to elbow bump me as a greeting while my arms were at my sides so his face was only a couple inches from my face! Like seriously dude!! Won't ever return!
