He was excellent at explaining all aspects of the home we planned on purchasing, I learned how to look after the home, what potential problems would arise and what current issues were. Mark did our inspection of a house we were purchasing. He was very professional and informative. His knowledge of all aspects of the inspection was impressive. Any issues he found were explained and solutions provided.The final report he sent us was thorough and exceptionally done. I was especially impressed with the action list portion of the report. I don't think anyone using Trueview will be anything but pleased with the service.

Mark and AJ did a home inspection on a house I was buying. They did a very thorough professional inspection. I particularly liked how the inspection was done in segmented stages with Mark then discussing, in great detail, the results of each segment with photos and thermal imaging. He explained any issues that needed to be dealt with through an action list as well as the positive structural findings. He willingly answered questions as they arose. They were on time for the scheduled appointment and a pleasure to deal with. The following day I received a detailed report and an Action Item List with specific photos illustrating the items and a rating as to their importance. I highly recommend Mark’s firm.

Service was great, and included very informative, helpful and easy to understand details. The report recieved was highly detailed, well organized and easy to follow especially if you are not familiar with home maintenance or repairs. Well done!

We had Mark do our inspection. He was very thorough, the whole thing taking about 3 hrs. He explained everything really well as we went through the home. One of the best parts was the detailed report they deliver afterwards; explanations, pictures, suggestions. Couldn't recommend more.

He took the time to listen and understand our questions, prompt questions and he always double checked to make sure we really understood what he was explaining. In buying and selling a home, we found this was rare. It was so appreciated and gave us confidence and comfort in the assessment.**THE REPORT** is very helpful not only for information up front but also for acquiring insurance coverage which you need to do ahead of moving in and things to know for maintenance. The report is clear, well organized and easy to understandThis was an expensive service but it was one of few services we got when selling and purchasing a home where we could trust that the vendor was giving us honest advice without any angles (ie he wasn't going to make more or less money depending on what he told us and how it influenced us.) When looking into companies, I had heard that one of the benefits of home inspection is a warranty in case something goes wrong after the inspection, that the inspector didn't note in their report. I looked for a company with this kind of warranty. But when I actually looked into the warranties themselves, they didn't cover much. Small items with deductibles and small maximum pay outs. They also only covered things with no mention of any potential issue. I'm just a home buyer, not an expert but after looking through the warranties I thought they seemed like not great protection and maybe incentive for the home inspection company to note that there may be issues with a bunch of things, to cover themselves. I liked the thorough approach and what TrueView explained about their process online and went with them instead. Other companies may be great too, I don't know but I know we are very pleased with the work and service of TrueView Home Inspections.
