Great gym to train at. Very clean and the instructors are great. All round, the experience and knowledge from the instructors is top shelf which is constantly applied in class. Friendly atmosphere with a united goal, to train hard. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

My biggest problem is that sometimes there are too many people on the mats. The kind of problem that arises when you have a stellar reputation. This is a good (bjj - cannot speak about the other programs except that people seem to love them as well - ) school with dedicated teachers who are both patient and welcoming. The people who train here are also solid. It is very friendly to beginners who want to go at their own pace.

My 9 year old daughter has been part of this gym since it opened, and she absolutely loves it. They are a great bunch of instructors who are friendly and professional. I would recommend their classes to anyone.

I can't say enough good things about this gym. The instructors are amazing, they are patient with beginners and extremely welcoming. The people who attend the gym are great. It is just a really fun place to learn and get fit.

Great place to train BJJ and Krav Combatives. Instructors are skilled, professional, friendly, and patient. Facility and equipment are clean and well maintained. Training is current, conceptual, relevant, challenging, and functional for civilians and LEOs alike of any skill level, including understanding the legal use of force under Canadian law. I highly recommend YGK Combatives Group to anyone looking to develop their martial skills and fitness.

My kids have been with YGK for the past year. Training in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. They always look forward to training. The instructors are more then great. The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. We are proud to be part of the YGK Combatives Group family.

My kids (ages 5 & 7) attend, and I’ve been very impressed with the level of instruction. The coaches are knowledgeable and very patient yet firm. The kids have a great time and are learning valuable skills.
