Went to Rick for a clunking noise in the front end of my Dodge Charger R/T. Rick found the problem, fixed it and dealt with Nationwide warranty for me to help cover most of the repair cost. Rick is great at what he does and friendly to deal with. Rick takes care of his customers.

Recently, I had an Emergency on the 401 at Woodstock and somehow, due to good fortune, I found Rick's Automotive. Rick ordered the necessary part for my vehicle, fixed the problem, and charged me a reasonable rate for parts & labour. All done within 4 hours. Rick's Automotive is a lifesaver. If you are in the area and need work done, or just passing through unexpectedly, as I was, I highly recommend the professionalism and care offered at Rick's automotive.

Rick’s is one of the rudest guys, I have ever came across, he was racist to me didn’t welcome me at all. Never going back again

We found ourselves in need of brakes ASAP before my husband went out of town. Called Rick’s and explained my situation, he said he’d call for the parts and let me know if he could fit us in the same day. Then he said to bring the car in and they’ll make sure it’s done by end of business day. It ended up taking them a bit past 5pm but he got it done for us as promised. Thank you Rick!

Took my mother in law's 6 month old vehicle (2014 jeep compass) here for an inspection. She's been complaining about the way it drives for a couple of months rightfully so the thing is a coffin on wheels as the back end spontaneously goes wonky in the snow is the best way I can explain it. It's like your constantly drifting one way or the other except the rear end isn't actually breaking loose. The car just will all of a sudden be driving skew and very scary to drive. Her dealership finally sent her here to have the car looked at. The guy at the shop did explain to me that he has to keep the insurance company happy because they send him customers but also trys to keep the customer happy. He explained that if it's brakes it's not covered by warranty. Very funny that it came back as obviously brakes and not covered. One caliper seized and one leaking. It would only cost $1,500 to fix them. First off that price is insane I replaced the calipers for under $300. Second can anyone please explain to me how this would cause brand new tires 3 months old to already be completely bald on the inside of the tire on both the left and right rear tires. I've never heard of one leaky caliper and one seized caliper causing this drastic of tire wear in such a short amount of time on both sides. On top of this the garage was upset that we weren't getting the car fixed there for this crazy price and wanted a small fee just for looking at it. Ultimately I feel like only the first part of his statement about keeping the insurance company happy was true.

Took my car to get the brakes inspected since they were making a weird sound. Rick was honest and professional when explaining to me what needed to be done, instead of telling me to change all 4 rotors like other shops in town did. Glad I went there! Absolutely recommend his services

Rick is a lifesaver. I am visiting from out-of-town in hot muggy weather, and my A/C stopped working on the Thursday before a long weekend and my long drive home to the Maritimes. Rick agreed to try and diagnose the issue on a busy Friday to help me out. By noon on Friday, my car was cruising cool again! I don't like leaving bad reviews, especially when someones livelihood depends on it, but if I can save another person from having to experience what I did by having my car fixed here, I will.Regrettably, my husband and I both brought our vehicles here twice. Mainly for convenience of location but never again. Neither time were we happy when we got our vehicles back. Problems weren't fixed or just started up again in a couple weeks. For me, the last straw was when I had sway bar links fixed, and the clunking started up again 2 months later. I took my car elsewhere where the guy gave me a lifetime warranty on the new links he installed for a better price, and said there's no way new links should have broken off that quickly! This was just the final straw for me. The stories could go on. Save yourself some trouble and go ELSEWHERE.
