Star Anise Grill Indian Bistro
I tried this place again after many years and it is much better now. Food is really flavourful, and a lot of the dishes are could be made vegan. I appreciated the honesty from the staff too they called us before we picked up to let us know that they realized their bhaturas and green chutney had dairy in it. They have really good indo Chinese food, I LOVED the corn soup. It was spicy and sweet, was amazing. Although the rest of the food wasn't as spicy as I usually like, the taste was so good that I didn't mind at all. Gobi manchurian was very good too. Even the smaller things like the salad was good which I usually find most restaurants don't pay attention to.

Star Anise Grill Indian Bistro
Our family (10 of us) had supper here a few days ago - the staff were very accommodating! We tried a variety of dishes and all were good - rich in flavour. The staff made sure we had what we needed, gave us complimentary rice pudding, and sent the kids home with a little takeout container of candies. Excellent service!

Star Anise Gill restaurant is the one of the best Indian restaurant in Regina. One of my friend recommend me to eat here so, I come here with my friends and try the lunch special food. I like the food very much because in their food there is Indian taste. All food is fresh and delicious. I also like the service of the restaurant. Now, I always come here to eat and I also recommend to all to come star Anise Grill restaurant try food here. I know you all also like their food.

We visited the city for a conference and absolutely LOVED this restaurant! Food was amazing and the staff was so kind. We got 3 curries, 5 naan, and chaat to share for 5 people and it was the perfect amount. Highly recommend!

I cannot stress enough how amazing this restaurant is. It is the only place I will eat Indian food from because of its high quality ingredients, extremely wonderful staff, and mouth watering meals that satisfy everyone! Everything is seasoned to perfection, nothing is greasy, and the restaurant is clean and super inviting!

Absolutely amazing flavour! I ordered the chicken 65, veg. pakora and veg. samosa. Fresh, the dips are incredible! Pick up order was very fast as well. Great service, next time I will dine in.

Small little place. The food was super! We visited with very low expectations but certainly turned out to be incredible. There was nobody when we entered and suddenly after 9, the restaurant was packed full. We ordered tandoori chicken, malai tikka and fish tikka for appetizers, out if which- tandoori chicken was excellent, malai was good too, didn't quite like the fish tikka- was just okay. For main course we decided on Bhuna masala and tandoori chicken butter masala with tandoori and rumali rotis- they were all fine. We also called for lassi, they were goood too. All in all, the tandoori chicken was a hero, the rest just blended in. I would definitely visit again, more for appetizers and would want to try more kebabs.
