UPDATE - Frank did return our deposit as of January 2023.=========Locally Frank has been in business for many years, and we thought he would be a trusted contractor. Apparently not, and he is going downhill in his business ethics. Frank provided a quote for work on our roof and requested a 33% deposit to start the project. That was in July 2022 with the project to be completed in September 2022. He cashed the deposit of $10,000 in July and never showed up. He kept delaying the project start by two weeks at a time until finally he stopped communicating altogether. Despite our many attempts to seek a refund for our deposit and resolve this professionally and ethically, he has not responded. It is now December and I believe he understands how small claims court goes, how expensive it is to undertake and the likelihood of that ever happening is slim. So, he keeps the money and goes silent. If this has happened to you, please communicate this and report it to the BBB, review sites and other social media sites focused on small crimes like the Cowichan Valley, Malahat, Lost, Found, Stolen, Crime Site on Facebook. It's the only way he may be persuaded to stop stealing his customers’ hard-earned after-tax money.

Great workers, super affordable and understanding. Haven't had a problem with getting a hold of or getting my job done. 10/10 would recommend if you need your roof done.

Hired Frank Simpson to re-roof my house in the summer of 2017.The first rainfall, the roof leaked and ruined the ceiling in our bedroom. Frank came back to fix the leak, but upon the second rainfall it leaked again.He said he knew exactly where it was leaking from and he had definitely fixed it this time.It didn't rain again for 3 months.. but when it did the roof leaked once again.I called and texted to let him know and he said he would be up at the start of the week to fix it again. No one showed up for over a week.. I called and texted again when I was informed the company was bankrupt" over 2 months ago (why would he tell me he was going to fix it if his company was bankrupt)Side note: I have the quote with all the material to be used (didn't want the cheap stuff) when I came to check on the work he was 3/4 done and using the cheap stuff he had promised he wouldn't. He said the company who sent the material was at fault.At no point did I feel comfortable with the work he did.Don't use this company to roof your house or business. He is cheap for a reasonI'm not the type of person to write a review and possibly wreck a business
