2021: First class professional. After some awful experiences with soot and dust left everywhere, finally we found Martin North. A charming guy who does a fantastic job. What more can you ask for? We've just moved in and I asked Martin to clean and inspect a log burner that the previous owners had used. Martin was friendly and went out of his way to make sure my chimney was set up right. Above all, safety is his priority and this really shows. Couldn't recommend him enough.

Martin did a great job of cleaning our chimney in spite of the state that a previous sweep had left it in. The room was kept clean and his attention to detail was very much appreciated (fixing the stove glass and applying some black fire cement over the natural coloured cement that was in there previously). I'll definitely be calling him again next time.

As a fire officer, I have first-hand experience of what can go wrong if corners get cut with chimney maintenance and I cannot recommend Martin highly enough - he is superbly professional. He takes his job incredibly seriously and never rushes to get jobs finished quickly. He uses top-notch equipment to clean flues thoroughly while creating no mess at all. His prices are extremely reasonable and I would never use anybody else. First class.
