Unfortunately, the service wasn’t the best.We had a reservation at 6:30 on Saturday for two. Firstly the morels mushrooms stuffed with veal were not available, and that was primarily the dish we wanted to try.We wanted to order the appetizers first, but the waitress told us that we should order everything at the same time to allow the kitchen to prepare, and we were assured that the food will come in order.We ordered a bottle of wine, 3 appetizers and 3 main dishes. All the food was very good, but we were halfway through the appetizers when the mains arrived. When we brought it to the staff's attention they said that it was because we have two hours even though it wasn’t even 7:30. We ended up eating knuckles, fish terrine, spaghetti and crab salad all at the same time. I think this is the most basic thing in a restaurant to offer food in the right order. After dinner we wanted to order coffee, but we were informed that the coffee is not available.

The food was pretty unique and taste was great. We ordered the tasting menu and based on our tasting, the fish and the pasta were amazing. Next time, I wouldn’t order tasting menu since portions were pretty small but the pasta and fish will be my go to.

Honestly one of the best places to eat in the entire world. I loved that the staff were so willing to let me be adventurous and just help choose a few things for me. Every dish was divine and the ambience is like a date night made in heaven with rustic shabby chic, cool lighting and an open kitchen and intimate family feel. It’s a little further out of the way for a traveller but absolutely make it part of your trip if you can. Also don’t miss the knuckles. Think of a cross between a pasty, pizza and an empanada but way way better:). Also nice choice of wines and beers at not too wild prices so easily accessible. If it hadn’t been closed for Christmas I would have come back again in the same trip it was that good. One of a kind, don’t miss it.

We finally visited this place after my friend kept recommending it. We were a group of 6 and opted for the blind tasting menu. They served us 2 course of meals to share and we were able to try almost their entire menu. Everything was amazing, my personal favorite was the smoked squash stuffed pasta. I highly recommend it!

Great little restaurant! The interior decor is very cute. Nice chandeliers. The food was amazing. The cavatelli was al dente and the sauce was just delicious. The portion was a bit small though. I would definitely liked to have a bit more of that delicious pasta. The artic char was just spectacular. The sauce, once again, was just on point. The fish just melted in ny mouth. I really recommend that fish. I tried the 2 desserts and was quite disappointed. Nothing exceptional. The service was very friendly. Even though the waiter was not fluent in English, he made a great effort to translate the menu for us. I had a great meal. I would definitely come back.

Knuckles is our #1 go to restaurant in Montreal. The food is seasonally creative and always delicious and the biodynamic wine pairings are stellar. Above all, they team led by Matt and Vincent are warm and welcoming. It’s our home away from home.

As someone who typically finds it difficult to enjoy vegetarian cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food at Knuckles.Not only were the dishes flavorful and satisfying, but they were also beautifully presented. I appreciated the attention to detail that went into each plate, from the colorful assortment of vegetables to the perfectly cooked grains and legumes.Overall, this restaurant has quickly become one of my absolute favorites in Montreal. Whether you're a vegetarian or just looking for a delicious and healthy meal, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Absolutely fabulous food & service. This menu, in a more upscale setting, would be Michelin star worthy. I had two staunch meat eaters at the table, who were a bit apprehensive about an all veggie menu. They LOVED it. We took the whole menu with 4 people, there was not one dish that we didn't like. Very friendly service as well, reasonably priced. Just, stay away from the wines if you like wine and know anything about it. Don't say I didn't warn you:-).

It's odd that Google says this place is temporarily closed. I went there last week, so I believe it's open these days. Anyway, AMAZING food, excellent service and incredible wines. They even have a fridge for unique takeaway wines that you probably won't find anywhere else in the city.I'm also seeing reviews that it's an all veggie menu. While the menu is veggie-heavy, there were some meat/fish selections when I was there (so they may have changed things up a bit). Either way, if you're vegetarian, there are lots of options.While I don't think you can go wrong with anything on this menu, my top picks were the Knuckles, the Asparagus, and the Spaghetti.
