River Adventures

First of all this was my first time back kayaking after about 5 years. Before we went glow kayaking the staff/instructors told us that if we were uncomfortable to tell them and they would get us out of the water. After a boat purposefully, full of drunks, hit the back of my kayak and I made crystal clear I wanted out now one of the workers just left me in the dust. I had to finish the whole thing with my nerves shot. It didn't help that after the boat hit me the lights on the kayak would flicker every once in a while to add to the stress.

We did the glow kayaking and it was such a great time. The activity itself was unique and so much fun, but the people running it made it even better. They're great at making people feel at ease. 10/10 would recommend.

Unfortunately I had a booking for a paddleboard rental for 1 hour on Oct 1st (booked it a week in advance), and the email confirmation said to show up 15 mins before the booking time. Showed up 15 mins before and there was no one there and the door was locked. Asked the neighbour, and she recommended we get ahold of them on Facebook. We messaged them, and our messages were read for approx. 20 mins with no response, until they apologized (well after the 2pm booking time we had) and asked if we wanted to do the rental tomorrow. We said we couldn't and asked for a full refund. Thankfully, they were able to give us a refund that day. I wished they gave us some notice (even 2 hours notice, but ideally at least a day's notice) that they weren't able to fulfill our booking that day, especially since we're driving from out of town. They have a very strict cancellation policy, but they themselves didn't show up for our booking without any notice and we had to reach out to them for it. I recommend to anyone to be cautious/not book during the off season.

My grandchildren attended summer camp last week. I commend you on your professionalism, genuine devotion to the kids and their safety. They had such a wonderful time. I am sure it will be a highlight of their summer. Thank you River Adventures.

There should be way more than 5 stars for River Adventures Grand Bend!!!I didn't think I'd ever try kayaking until I started following their FB page. I couldn't have asked for a better crew and company for my first adventure! They went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable, had fun and enjoyed the great river paddle.

Amazing time going glow in the dark kayaking. Easy and very peaceful paddle up the river and back. Becky and Mark were so nice and made sure everyone was having a good time and safe. Their staff are very friendly too. Make sure to bring a floating waterproof phone case so you can get pictures and don't drop your phone into the river. I will for sure be back to go again.

The staff and on-site Pups were amazing.Took the girls for a morning paddle! We loved the serenity. We saw so many different critters enjoying the peaceful morning.Paddled outta main beach. Played in some waves and paddled back.Looking forward to doing it again

Honestly the best experience and amazing staff. Did I get wet …. Yes ! Do I expect when you are on a BOAT with a PADDLE coming in and out of the water to get wet, also a yes. I did the glow in the dark kayaking and cannot say enough amazing things about the experience. The staff went above and beyond for us and the other members of the night. Honestly I can’t say enough about how amazing of a local business this is.

We did the night glow kayaking on Saturday night and it was an awesome experience. Mark and Becky were both amazing in guiding our group. They were very kind and non-judgemental. They provided me with a little more guidance, as it had been quite some time since I had last gone kayaking and I had a bit of a wobbly start! They gave me the confidence and reassurance I needed to complete and enjoy this incredible adventure. They truly care about the people who come out to kayak, which left me with an outstanding impression. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you, River Adventures for a great time!

Mark offers a wonderful, quaint and fun activity for his clients. It's a great way to spend some time with friends, family or just to get out solo and see more of what BlueWater county has to offer. The staff are polite and courteous; they make you feel both welcome and safe.Great job!
