Racist and profoundly disappointing; no room for white people.While I was in Richmond today, I decided it was finally time to visit Sunny M Coffee. I had heard many incredible things. My Q grade friends often touted their affection for this quaint coffee shop.Although finding this shop was easy, parking proved to be quite the hassle. After finally finding a spot, I was very excited to make the short journey inside to finally try what I have heard is nothing short of a fantastic cup of coffee.When I entered the space, I saw three tables with only one patron inside. As I looked over to the lady standing behind the counter, she pointed at some boards on the wall and said menu." That wasn't entirely true as their pour over menu was tucked behind the register on the counter.At this point

The place is small but neat and well organized. The atmosphere is nice and would be perfect if it wasn't too tight.... only two tables and tight. The mocha is good (not sweet at all) and I liked the tiramisu dacquoise and the honey pistachio... the portion is quite small for the price though. Good service.

Situated in a small plaza, came here after seeing some good online reviews.It’s a little family-run cafe, nice and cozy interior but quite small. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about coffee. Bought an iced americano and some Korean coffee beans. They have lots of specialty coffee and tea products. Definitely worth a try.Really enjoyed our visit. Will come again when we are in that neighborhood!

I... Don't get the hype about this place. The food was pricy, not that good and small.The tiramisu I ordered was great actually, thought it was too small. It was also really messy. Couldn't eat without spilling the powder all over the table. My friend ordered a matcha dessert and it came way too sweet and dry. She literally gave me hers since she didn't want to finish it. The bubble tea coffee was different, it was good! But it wasn't really worth the price since it was twice as small than the ones you can get at Bubble tea places.Otherwise, what really dissappointed me was the area. There are hardly any space to sit. 3 people max in the store or else you would feel uncomfortable. The seats were crammed in with the tables, right next to each other.Yes, you can talk with the owner about coffee, but for a 4.9/5 rating, I just thought that it would be better.Food: 3.5/5Space and comfort: 2.5/5Price: $$Décorations: 4/5

This small friendly coffee shop, known for their pour overs and specialty teas, was a nice find in bubble tea dominated Richmond. Enjoyed their latte which was strong but smooth. Tried their cannelle and its gentle sweetness went well with the latte. I will return and try one of their unique teas and other desserts.

I came here for the coffee challenge. He ordered our doughnuts fresh from a place across the street. You can tell the owner is really passionate about coffee. If I lived in Richmond, this would be my go-to place for coffee. He custom stamps his own logo on every cup!

We tried the iced mocha, bubble tea and tiramisu dacquoise. The dacquoise was really good, creamy but not too sweet but kinda small for the price. The bubble tea was more like home-made kind and the mocha was pretty disappointing. We couldn't taste much coffee flavour, just mainly chocolate and even that flavour isn't strong either. Basically it's way too light. Price is high too.

Amazing vibe, great service and specialty coffee! Great variety, but tiny space, either escape the busy hours (like we did and were able to hang with Autumn, probably the most gorgeous dog in the world) or be prepared to wait, I heard lines do get quite big.

Quality over quantity! The place makes really good coffee and they for sure focus on good products over giving you a lot of mediocre product. There are lots of other things like coffee beans and some brewing equipment. Shop looks cute on the inside, but has a few small tables. Would probably not be the best for a sip and study spot.
