I stayed in one of the cottages which was rented to me via air bnb and my experience was terrible. I am aware that some of the issues may have had more to do with the host than the resort itself but even then there are issues. The 10pm curfew feels controlling and unnecessary. The downstairs of the house had stained carpet and walls, and the bathroom had exposed heating tanks and was all around unfinished. Not to mention the noise that the toilet made. The upstairs room had an “open concept” bathroom, that had no barrier between it an the rest of the room. There were already flies in the house when we got there. Probably most disappointingly, we were told we would be staying on a vineyard. With no view, no information in english, and nothing listed on the website at all (post translation,) if we were, I wouldn’t have known. Over all, from the second I walked into this “house” (which was how it was listed on air bnb) I was not just disappointed, I was disgusted. Had this location been advertised correctly there is absolutely no chance I would have stayed here. Also, in a town where nothing is open past 9, I would expect the restaurant to capitalize on the opportunity to serve later than 8pm.

28 May 2022 I was there with my wife for a function.Supper was formal events and we are serve with peoples wearing T-shirt with advertisements on it.For dessert they serve sugar pie worth about 10 cents of sugar for a meal that cost 95 dollars...La cache a Maxime is more like a cheap motel/hotel with a BIG BIG BIG price tag

Beautiful room, very modern (yet close to nature) and full of light, in perfect taste. Location is a bit far from anything I would want to visit, but the hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway. We were there for a wedding and the venue itself was perfect for that purpose, and I would not hesitate to organize a social event there. Service was efficient and very professional.

I heard good things of the hotel so I decided to stay in for a couple of days. I arrived yesterday was well greeted, the room is spacious and everything seems fine. I went to sleep and set the alarm at 8am... I was woked up by the sun in the room that seemed so bright I thought I went past 8, when I check it was 5h30. The curtains cannot go over the window so there's only blinds to cover the window and they dont block the sun... when I told the receptionist she asked me what was the problem. I had to ask to be changed room and when I went back at noon still the room was not prepared. I spoke to the supervisor that said they're renovating and it should be fixed soon but that's something people usually like. For a reputated hotel I'm surprised to hear I should like being awaken at 5h30 by the sun even though I didn't ask for it. I'm very disappointed so far with my stay at the hotel.

First off - my review is of the restaurant and not the whole complex. Rooms are good and theBut the restaurant for dinner ... This was one of the biggest disappointments after I have read so many good reviews about it1. The food is average at best2. The service is painfully bad, except for a younger waiter who really was trying his best.Kudos, young man3. And omg so funny and awkward - the vineyard restaurant doesn't carry their own wines in the menuRight after dinner we cancelled our breakfast booking - I prefer to pay Tim Hortons rather then leave money at a place where we don't feel welcome*on a separate note - cleaning stuff in the corridors chat and laugh out loud like they are on a friendly stroll at a park, they do not greet visitors and make them feel like a nuisanceIf my review will be read by hotel management - folks, you have serious problems with service, apart from reception - they were quite efficient

La Cache a Maxime is an ideal hotel and chalet business that offers superb rooms in the main hotel as well as chalets offering luxury comfort and upscale decor. Chalets available in 4, 6 or 8 people combinations with some over spa tubs outside, firepits and gas barbecues. Highly recommend.

Great place. Spa is really nice. Will go back for sure.

Electricity and WiFi down. No back up when premium price charged

Worst service I’ve seen in years. At the peak of Covid, hotels were doing better than this. They use the labor shortage tu justify everything. Had to wait 35 minutes to finally check in. Got into my room and had dirty pillows and floor (underneath the couch I found chips and cereals…). Told the front desk about it. They told me they couldn’t do anything about it, and that they would « try » to bring a new pillow!! They brought the pillow but didn’t even take the dirty one away. The restaurant and bar at the hotel are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so had to order delivery. Asked the front desk for plates they said I had to bring my own!! When they finally agreed to bring me plates they brought them with dishwashing soap asking me to clean them!! Didn’t have large towels in the bathroom, asked for big ones and they told me they weren’t sure they had enough for my room!!! I spend more than 80 nights per year in hotels and this was the worst experience ever. The staff was rude and looked like they were over any critics, they don’t care about their guests at all. They think their pool and nice pictures are enough so they don’t need to take care of their guests. This looked like a cheap motel on the border of a highway. Do not recommend at all.
