Kenorah Team did an excellent job on our main floor reno.We looked at several companies to update our home and chose Kenorah based on reviews , recommendations and quality of work.I liked the fixed term contract and price and my wife liked the design team.Leslie and Rebecca guided our design choices and worked with us on the many decisions with knowledge and patience.We had to pack up everything and move and the project manager James was very helpful and accommodating with references and suggestions.All the trades were friendly and professional and did an awesome job.we hit a few bumps in the road with tiles and faucets but overcame them with support and input from a great team.The job was completed on budget and a couple weeks early.We are very happy with the results and would not hesitate to recommendKenorah Design and Build.

We recently completed our second renovation project with Kenorah - the first being approximately 10 years ago. This time we did a complete kitchen make-over, as well as opening up the flow into our dining room. What a huge positive difference - the feel, flow and utility of our main floor has been enormously improved. We found the Kenorah team super to work with - Leslie on the design side and Paul and Rob on the construction side. We felt that the painters they used were particularly good. We're very happy with the results.

After numerous hours of research and interviewing multiple design and build firms, we are so happy with our choice and cannot recommend Kenorah enough.From the get go, Alec was professional, a great communicator, and realistic. He and his team turned our cold shell office space into a well designed and fully functional medical office on time and at a reasonable cost despite rapid inflation of materials during the build.Vanessa (designer) was attentive and came up with a plan based on very specific criteria to ensure the space would be functional and work for patient flow.What blew us away was even after the office was finished, Alec got his team to come back and perfect small issues in a timely manner and followed up to ensure everything was satisfactory.Alec goes above and beyond for his clients - he was reachable at all times and very receptive to changes to the plan. I would recommend this business to anyone considering a major renovation of their home. We were drawn to this company as it was well established, it had a good reputation and it provided full service delivery through its team approach. The team included Building Design, Designer, Site Lead and Project Manager. We were apprehensive at first given the magnitude of both cost and construction but as we were guided through each stage of the process, we knew we made the right choice in choosing Kenorah over the other two construction/renovation companies we sought quotes from.Having stated this, you can't simply turn over the keys and then return when the renovation is complete - you must stay involved to ensure accountability with sub-trades. There were several points during the life of the project that I was not happy with the quality of work done by some of the sub-trades; however, the Project Manager (Mike E) was excellent to deal with and he ensured these were rectified. He ensured we were kept up to date on the progress of the renovation, that there were no surprises, and that the project was completed on time and on budget.A year has passed since the completion of the project and despite the quality of work and products, there have been a few warranty claims - which is to be expected. I've been very impressed with Kenorah's responsiveness to each claim. They are truly a company that stands behind their product.

We are writing to share our positive experience with Kenorah Design/Build as the contractor for our recently completed dream home in Maple Ridge. After conducting a thorough search online, we chose Kenorah based on their intriguing website and awards, including Georgie Awards. Although we had connections to local builders through family and friends, we ultimately decided to work with Kenorah to avoid any potential complications in our relationships.Initially, we had some reservations about working with a relatively young team, but our concerns were quickly assuaged after our first meeting with the owner, Jake. His insightful proposals and knowledge of the industry impressed us, and we soon decided to move forward with the project by signing a design agreement.The Kenorah team was led by our project lead, Geoff, and design lead, Vanessa. They were outstanding throughout the entire process, from the initial demolition to the final product. Geoff was responsible for coordinating all trades, managing schedules, budgets, invoices, and communicating with the local municipality. His calmness, integrity, professionalism, and expertise were truly impressive. Vanessa was instrumental in the design aspects of the house, including layout, lighting, cabinets, flooring, appliances, and colors. Geoff and Vanessa kept us informed and involved throughout the entire process.Covid-19 presented some challenges, but Jake and Wes, the owners of Kenorah, convinced us to proceed with the project, as the costs of materials were favorable and trades were available. Our trust in their expertise was well-placed, as the end result was a stunning home that exceeded our expectations. The whole process was very satisfying, and we have now completed phase one of the project, which includes the house and landscaping.In conclusion, we have no hesitation in recommending Kenorah Design/Build for any home renovation or construction projects. We had Kenorah finish our basement last year. The project was completed on budget and on time, and the Kenorah team and the tradespeople they work with were professional and extremely customer service oriented. We really appreciated the clear communication and regular progress updates from Geoff, the Project Manager, and Leslie, the Design Lead. It was a very positive experience and we’re loving our space.

Kenorah did a kitchen reno in our New West condo. They did a great job with the design to open it up but keep the expense down by re-using existing cabinets and floors. Work was completed on time and with minimal disruption. Always cleaned up and protected the condo and building from dust, etc. Came in exactly on the quoted price - even didn't charge for a pipe that had to be moved.All in all a great job!
