Been taking courses at this place for a few years, my experience with teachers is that all of them clearly know their information well, but their teaching styles could not be more different. This means that finding a good teacher is pretty much luck, and if you don't then you'll be stuck with a mediocre at best teacher for an entire term. There is one exception for this: French class. There is only one teacher that teaches every class, and well you just have to do good in class. Otherwise you will have a bad time because French Teacher carefully picks out students with bad marks and flame them in front of the whole class. Just don't set a bad example, and you'll be fine.

When i was reading all of 1 star reviews, I knew this is a right place to help your kids. This is a right place for some quick learner and easily-learning guy. Please classfy and check what kind learner your kids are in first. Put your loving into a right learning condition.

Unfortunately I dont know the name of the French teacher, but I am sure his parents gave him one, rudest person ever, it is sad he shows those attitudes to the school students, who will be our future. Are you here to educate them for a better future or make them humiliated & hurt and expect them to give that back to this country when they grow up? Remember you play an important role here. I have a suggestion for you, think back how you were treated by your parents, teachers and those around you when you were a kid, did they make you a person who you are today treating you the same way, why did you pick this vocation in the first place, what do you want people say about when you retire someday? If you can't figure it out, simply leave and I am sure there is a better place for you to be in this world. Olympiads school, get him fired please, you don't deserve any business with him, it is a shame.

So, I've been doing olympiads for around 2.5 years. The overall experience is well, ok. For most of the classes, Either the teacher is the goat, or bad. All teachers will teach well, but not all teachers will actually try to help you understand, except for french. Every single french class has this teacher called French teacher" and you kind of have to get on his good list. He will respect the good list

It's kinda funny how you can just tell that most of these comments are evidently written by students who were probably forced into attending these lessons by their parents. I do agree that the teacher does matter a lot though, so you should take as many try-out classes possible to see which one suits your rhythm.

Horrible science class. They squish one unit (that would usually take a few months to learn effectively at school) into one class. It's incredibly fast paced and I've barely learned anything. (P.S this was online, so I'm not sure if it's like this in person as well)

this place is honestly horrible. I take the math and English courses, the teachers are actually pretty nice but I barely learn anything. I am not a fast learner and the entire point of this place is to cram a year's work into 2 months which is insane. the homework load is a lot and I already have my day school's homework and projects. I take 2 classes and each Class's homework is 4-6 pages long so altogether there is around 8-12 pages. That is actually crazy and for the math class they literally spend 45 minutes (Half of the class) correcting homework. Then, after the break, the teachers give us a handout and expect us to copy what they write. The explanations are also not great. English class is slightly better but honestly it is just so boring and I get bored so easily in these classes. Also, since I've been taking Olympiads, I've been getting so stressed and agitated. Please don't take this class. It's meant only for extremely fast learners and causes extreme stress.

My kids took the French classes at Olympiads and got 5 on AP French. The teacher is awesome and takes the teaching here seriously. He could be strict sometimes but all to ensure the success of his students. Well planned material and high-quality teaching!

if i could give zero stars i would. The stupidly rushed classes squeeze 10 months worth of content into 2 months. the classes are intensely fast paced and unnecessarily boring. they literally just read the notes and tell u to do homework. some classes are even overpacked, and don't include a lesson. the homework is way too much and is way beyond what is covered, if there was a lesson. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!!!!! DO NOT SIGN UP

I don’t attend this school anymore but if you check the one-star reviews it’s quite evident that they are, frankly, incompetent. I have attended this school for years in the past, from grade four to grade eleven. There are no perfect teachers but most are kind, funny, and have a passion for teaching.I have never been good at math and likely never will. But when I could not keep up or could not complete the homework, I knew that it was my own problem. This school focuses on cramming information. That is quite literally the purpose of the courses. If you’re hoping for a chill experience, don’t take a course in a school that produces debate/math/writing/chemistry/.etc competition winners. It is just embarrassing seeing the one-star reviews admitting to their own stupidity and lack of academic prowess. Um… sorry you’re a failure? In terms of the English and writing courses I highly recommend. The English teachers are incredible and memorable. Not to say the others weren’t, I was just bad at the other classes. Also, take chemistry here if you’re hoping for a really good time. I literally took chemistry here for fun because I loved the chemistry teachers.Anyways, I don’t have my actual name here, but if the teachers are reading— greetings from the Ru family. Sorry the other reviewers seem to lack the ability to self-reflect on their personal failures.
