I have been a Personal Training client of Carrie Brown for a number of years, in person and now online through Virtually Fitness. When it became apparent that the traditional way of delivering personal training was not possible, virtual training was seen as a viable alternative. Carrie Brown took the lead in this initiative and through her commitment and hard work, a successful transition to virtual training has been made. Virtually Fitness programs and services are straightforward to access in the online world. The philosophy and benefits of personal training have not been lost in the changeover. Virtually Fitness and Carrie Brown remain focussed on the overall wellness of clients as evidenced by the emphasis on an integration of physical and mental health. Carrie Brown combines her extensive fitness knowledge with enthusiastic motivation and dedication. In her interactions, Carrie Brown’s qualities of empathy, adaptability and positive demeanour are evident. Above all, it is a pleasure to work out with Carrie Brown and I unreservedly recommend Carrie and Virtually Fitness.

Carrie Brown is like going to the gym with your best buddy!, only she knows way more and the gym is in your home. Personal, fun, customizable, effective, and totally safe. No Covid here! The platform, Virtually Fitness is easy, and interactive (if you want it to be) otherwise just click and enjoy your workout. Reminders are sent, booking support, choosing your workout, and any questions or concerns are all easily done electronically. Carrie makes herself available for anything that may come up from injury concerns to an area you may want to work on more. She even includes form and target area instruction on the fly during the exercise so you won’t miss the benefits by doing it wrong. She also will demonstrate low impact and high impact versions of the same exercise during the workout to ensure inclusion for all. I personally have experienced more flexibility in joints and definitely more energy. I recommend Carrie Brown for all of these reasons and because of her expertise as a fitness/wellness instructor and execution of the online fitness platform. What a little gem I’ve found and couldn’t wait for the opportunity to write a review and share this positive feeling!

I've used VF since Covid struck and the gyms closed down. Love it--pivoted to home exercise and don't see myself going back to a gym membership even after a return to normal!

Virtually Fitness has been an excellent and key resource for me in managing my fitness needs through this pandemic. Their ability to pivot from in-person to virtual training was seamless. The training has been every bit as challenging as the in-person and without the time and effort of going to and from training. Carrie Brown’s professionalism, enthusiasm and experience she has given me, not only the results I sought, but also a better understanding of the fitness levels I want to achieve. Her encouragement and support keeps me engaged and motivated. Her coaching me toward weight loss has resulted in successfully reaching my goal. Carrie has worked with my health care providers to integrate recommendations into my training and yoga and she is great with helping me prepare for specific challenges such as hiking and kayaking trips. I also appreciate Virtually Fitness support of community issues such as mental health.
