Love this lys! Whenever I am in calgary I make sure to get there. Great selection of yarns, in a variety of prices. I love that they don’t just have the bougie yarns, but also a nice selection of acrylics. I find the sales people helpful and friendly. I would love if they had a winding service, Calgary is not my primary residence so my swift/winder is not here. I would have bought some hanks today if they could have wound them for me! All in all, my favourite Calgary yarn shop!

I spent a few hundred dollars over this winter at the store, good selection and two of the younger girls were very helpful. Recently, I went in to purchase more yarn and the older lady working at the till was not very nice and border line rude. As a result I will not shop at this store again and will not recommend it to anyone. There is another store in Inglewood where the staff were so helpful especially to someone who is trying to learn and improve.All I can really say, is that if you are having a bad day, do not take it out on the customers, especially if they are not one of your typical Knitting circle

I recently purchased a package of Chiagoo Needle tips. When I got home I realized I already had that size. I went back the next day to return or even exchange for a size I didn’t have. I was told that they would not take them back because I had touched them and they could no longer sell them. I have never heard of a store that would not take back a product because they had been touched. The package was never opened, hence I will not be shopping there again. Too bad because I like the store but not the owner

They have a huge selection of yarn at a wide variety of prices with tons of colours for each brand they carry. Friendly staff, lots of pattern books and notions, a lot of yarn for sale. It's definitely worth the stop.

I was pretty disappointed with the service I received the last time I was there. I felt like an impositions and like I had the plague or something . I am wondering why they would stay open if they are so worried about getting sick. I had also asked to be let know when some yarn was back in stock back at the end of January and just received a call that it was in. Then I felt pressured to make a decision because I was told they close in 10 minutes. I work so was unable to get there any earlier. Do they want people to knit and carry on these talents or not?I have received excellent service by a couple of the other employees and have made many purchases here. Not sure I’ll go back now....

The best customer service! The staff member was so patient as she tried to help me find the right yarn for my pattern. She was so knowledgeable and I never felt she was trying to push me towards higher end products. The yarn selection was AMAZING. This will be my go-to knitting store without a doubt.

Will never shop here again. I have had the displeasure of dealing with the same older woman each time I have been in. She is unpleasant, grumpy and unyielding. The customer service is terrible. Not to mention an extreme and unreasonable exchange policy. Go spend you money somewhere that takes customer service to heart.

Used to bring my wife here all the time until we were rudely kicked out last year. Want allowed into the store to shop because we didn't have a mask. Felt completely discriminated and turned off. Won't go back.

I have been going to Gina Brown’s since her shop was on 4th Street (1970).I was there today and it still has the best variety of wool, patterns, and samples. The 2 staff were very helpful and pleasant. Also knowledgeable and not pushy.Wearing a mask is no problem.Thanks so much, I will continue enjoying going there! Pamela.
