West Kelowna Skatepark

Decent park layout, new bowls are pretty big, not great for smaller kids on skate boards but did see a few on scooters. Good for teens and more advanced skaters.

Good park for older teens but not very kid friendly. No shade

Awsome skatepark

No shade so it can get quite hot. Also the main flat area isnt level, so if you are a beginner you may find it frustrating to learn on. I know I personally find it difficult to practice ground tricks on slanted pavement.

The new park is a VAST improvement over the old park. Fabulous pool style bowl, fun flow-bowl, great street section and a great flat section with simple smooth concrete for flat-ground and people just figuring things out.Definitely lots of scooter kids during certain times and parents that do not understand skateboard park etiquette and have not taught it to their children though. Almost hit a kid who biked under me while I was doing a lip trick which was quite uncomfortable. If you are a parent who has never been to a skatepark or has a child without significant experience in parks, please google: Skatepark Etiquette and watch a YouTube video on it and keep your children safe and their experience positive!!
