I had an amazing first pregnancy experience with Team 1 comprised of Edie, Sally Kaitlynn. They were all equally great, professional, caring and super supportive. From the minute I got pregnant until my postpartum it was like having extended family members by my side who were experts, knowledgeable and could answer all the questions I had. Appointments in the clinic were great as I never felt rushed was always provided excellent service from the minute I walked in to when I left. I would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for midwifery service!

The Midwives of York Region delivered my son in November 2021.The quality of care that I received during my second pregnancy was outstanding. Thank you to Victoria and Meganne for an amazing experience. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

The dedication and care the midwives at midwives of York provide is top notch. Very professional, yet like family all at once. Having experienced both an OB and a Midwife during my two pregnancies I will choose midwife every time. They care for the pregnancy yes, but most importantly they care for mom, you don’t feel invisible. The postpartum care is essential and more woman need this. I wish it lasted for the first year. But 6 weeks is something to be grateful for. Jacqueline is forever a part of our lives now and we can’t thank her enough for all she has done for us. Thanks again.

The best pregnancy and postpartum experience ever. I had a team of Victoria and Jaqueline who made every office visit during my pregnancy perfect. All my questions were answered, I never felt rushed and I always felt welcomed. Victoria was with me during my labor. Her professional skills and support helped me to deliver safely and create a great memories about this special day in my life. In home postpartum visits were great, Victoria’s support during first days after the baby was born helped me to feel confident with my new bundle of joy.Thank you Midwives of York Region! You are awesome and we already miss you!

Very happy with these ladies! I had Jacqueline for most of my appointments, Amy joined her team later on in my pregnancy. Both are super friendly and very informative with any questions I had.I decided to have a home birth. The day of labour I had Amy and Karey (the midwife oncall that day). It was my first baby and my boyfriend and I agree that the whole birthing experience went smoothly thanks to the midwives very clear instructions. They made having a home birth seem less out of the norm.It has truly been a pleasure! If it wasn't for COVID I would've given you all a hug on my last day with you.

I cannot say enough great things about Midwives of York Region! My team is Carolyn, Kristen and Maha and they are all incredible - super knowledgeable, caring and attentive. I had to have a transfer of care to an obgyn because of a higher risk pregnancy but they continued supporting me. They also made my labour and delivery as positive and empowering of an experience as it was despite needing to be induced early. The home visits after birth were invaluable. I truly wish every mom had those. I look forward to my visits at the clinic now and know they are always a phone call away if I have any concerns. I’m extremely grateful for their care! Thank you!!

I had the pleasure of having my delivery with Meganne. She was kind, supportive and very knowledgeable. My baby initially made no progress in dilating my cervix and she came up with a more natural method using a peanut ball than to go for medication. She also guided me through delivery with very minimal tearing (only a one degree!). She made the birth so relaxing it felt like I was chatting with an old friend, which made me fully present and aware enough to spend those first precious moments with my son.I highly, highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a midwife.

I can’t imagine what my first pregnancy would’ve been like without the amazing women at MYR. My sister had recommended to look into midwives and I can’t thank her enough for that because it lead me to these women.I was under the care of multiple women throughout my time with them and they each made me feel comfortable and supported immediately. They made my labour and delivery such a comfortable environment despite having to be induced and eventually have a c-section when I went in wanting a natural birth.I truly cannot thank them enough for being there during my delivery. I was only able to relax because of what my midwife was saying to me during that time. The postpartum visits were extremely helpful, especially with it being my first baby and the internet having so much misinformation.I wish every pregnant women could have the same experience I did! Thank you ladies immensely!!!

I had both my babies with Midwives of York Region and both times had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend using a midwife if you are expecting. Everyone in the office at Midwives of York Region are amazing, highly knowledgeable and really care for you and your baby.

I had my first birth at home with Jacqueline who is a wonderful and the most caring midwife, after 31 hours of labour and pushing , everything went really well as she supported me amazingly and had my daughter on my arms. One of the reason that I did not end up to the hospital with all the pains and long delivery was Jacqueline because she is an expert and knows very well how to smooth the process. I'm so happy and thankful to be admitted at York region midwife and now I'm in the postpartum period and I get a lot of support from Karey and Jacqueline,I really recommend it and thanks for everything.Your service is really great.
