First time ever buying popcorn at this place and my last. The staff are miserable. Top it off, NO CASH. Since when is cash not acceptable currency.

I haven’t been here since like 2009 and now I remember why. Almost $8 for a tiny amount of popcorn that tasted old. THEN I find a piece of mysterious debris inside the bag after 1-3 bites. Manager said she’d give me a new bag, but I live too far so I threw it out. I will not be back. Better off to make my own popcorn, my popcorn is tastier and fresher and healthier.

Staff were rude (I had a question and got cut off before I could even finish) and they’re still not taking cash. I could have understood this policy at the beginning of the pandemic but I think it’s safe to say no one has to worry about handling a $20 bill when they’re in a mall full of unmasked people.

I was excited to revisit Kernels for a dose of nostalgia while at Stone Road Mall but, was left instead extremely disappointed.1. The short line took too long given the inattentive and unengaged staff that seemed to enjoy tossing a box cutter more than anything.2. Grab bags are no longer an option, forcing you to at a minimum buy a $6-8 small bag.3. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd flavour option selected was unavailable given there wasn't enough popcorn to make a small bag.I walked away with nothing left to say.Don't waste your time or money. Grocery stores and Costco do a fine Chicago Mix and SmartFood and Cheetos have got you covered on cheese popcorn and more for half the price.

Manager made the day for us when the machine broke down at Conestoga mall last week & we needed double hit as a party bag! Thanks a lot for being quick and understanding.

These homies pulled through and filled a huge order after another location's machine went down. Absolute heros worked overtime to fit my order in. I will gladly bring them all of my popcorn buisness for the rest of my life. Wish I could give them six stars.

The staff, especially the ones who have a bit of experience, are always great and super nice. They know how to make it a good experience for the kids too.

At Stone Road Mall in Guelph. Popcorn delicious as always but the service was horrible. 3 people standing there so slow and lazy just talking to each other and seemed as if bothered the serve you. The person who appeared to be the manager had no people skills at all! Really terrible service, really slow and with the stupid high prices for popcorn I don’t think I would go back…. To that one anyways.

just bought popcorn here for the tuesday bogo—the employees were an absolute DELIGHT!! honestly they could’ve slowed down the popcorn-making process to talk longer to my dad and i, and i wouldn’t’ve cared since they were so fun!! i will be back in two weeks to buy the exact same thing i always do—whalin’ white cheese ;D
