Howard's Second Generation Furniture Restoration

A beautiful job! I was looking to capture/get back to the the beauty of walnut in this Canadian made antique piece and they gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. I love it and I recommend Howard's to anyone who has a family keepsake/heirloom they are looking to-refinish without losing the antiquity of the piece. I am beyond pleased with the result! They are professional, communicative during the process, and pricing is fair and well worth it!

Howard’s did an amazing job on a sentimental Queen Anne’s desk. Stored in basement for over 30 years, see not a great picture, and painted a lovely antique green in the 1960’s I was not sure how well it would turn out. Have a look, the amber stain brought out all the beauty of the walnut wood. Already planning to have another refinished table brought back to life.

Howard's restored a 65+ old coffee table that was in sad shape. The repairs were beyond what I could have imagined. They did an amazing job and brought the table back to life. Big thanks for a wonderful job. I highly recommend Howard's.

I have a dining room set that belonged to my great grandmother. One of the legs on the hutch was broken and the finish on the table was damaged. It was a big job. Umar was incredibly professional and patient during the entire process. He took the time to thoroughly explain all my options when it came to refinishing the pieces (including different types of wood veneer and refinishing methods). I appreciated the picture updates as well as stain/paint recommendations and samples throughout the project. I was absolutely blown away when my set was delivered. They did a phenomenal job. The pieces are BEAUTIFUL, and the repairs are seamless. I would absolutely recommend Howard’s.

Umar and his team did an amazing job refinishing our kitchen table. The table looked better than when it was new and the cost was at the bottom end of his estimate. Umar was very accommodating as he stored our table during our renovation and returned it as soon as we asked. When Umar returned the table we asked him if he could repair a dining room credenza drawer which kept falling of the slides and he did so and did not want any payment for his work. Umar is the ultimate professional and we highly recommend him.

Am a first time customer who was delighted to have “found” Howard’s! From the very first contact when I took my table in for repair, the experience was a positive one. A reasonable initial quote was provided but once the job was started, it became apparent that more work was required than had at first been thought. When I went in to pick up the table, they explained what other work they had needed to do—and still “stuck to” the original quote! Excellent customer relations, reasonable prices AND top notch quality workmanship—what more can a customer ask? 5 STAR RATING, ALL AROUND!

The staff at Howard's were helpful and informative. My Wm & Mary table has been refinished beautifully (see before and after pix). I was so impressed I brought them another piece to bring back to life. Note: that's not a mark on the back leaf of the finished piece, it's sunshine - yay Spring!

My mother's broken antique chair was professionally repaired and finished and looks better than it did prior to bringing it to Howard's! Eden and staff provided great service. They said they could do it and they did! As a result, I'm now looking for more opportunities to have them refinish my own furniture. This was a job well done by very experienced finishers. I'm very happy!

Umar and his team did an amazing job refinishing my mid century dressers which belonged to my parents. I absolutely love them! They took the time to explain the process and products used. They also gave me suggestions on they best finishes for my furniture. They are wonderful to work with and I couldn't be happier with my dressers!
