I have been going to Bare Affair to get my eyebrows waxed since I moved to Alberta in 2020. It was very important to me to find someone knowledgeable to do my eyebrows as I have very sensitive skin, and have had terrible experiences getting my brows done in the past (including having half my brow ripped off!!). After my first appointment with Nichole I knew I had found that person. She gave suggestions on how we should wax my brows to let the hair grow back to get the perfect shape. My brows have NEVER looked as good as they do now! On top of Nichole knowing her stuff, she is also very personable. So is Quinn, the receptionist -- I always feel super welcome when I walk in the door. I would recommend Bare Affair 10 times over!

Best waxing place hands down. My eyebrows always look amazing, it doesn't hurt as much as other places, and the redness doesn't last nearly as long. Valerie is wonderful!

Horrible experience. Valerie was extremely insensitive and rude, and was very unprofessional. I asked if my friend could come in the room for moral support as I was nervous, when she proceeded to be rude and claimed she “didn’t have time for this”. After explaining it was my first wax she proceeded to poke fun at how “hairy” and “sensitive” I was. Making me want to cancel my appointment all together. Would not recommend for first timers.

Valerie is amazing. This is a cute little shop that offers so many selections. Love making the drive here to get my waxing done.

All the staff here are awesome (I've seen everyone since I'm a book-at-last-minute type of woman), but Nichole especially is off-the-charts amazing. I live downtown Edmonton and have so many closer options, but she's the reason I keep going back - 100% worth the drive! She's extremely knowledgeable, talented, personable, and thorough. Sensitive skin? Prone to ingrowns? Other conditions/past struggles? She's got you.

Had an eyebrow appointment with Nicole for the first time a couple weeks ago. Beautiful space she has created for her clients and fellow employees. Front staff was super nice! Talking with Nicole was like talking with a friend of many years! She did an amazing job on reshaping my brows and I will be back regularly. And it's behind a chocolate store! Talk about self care done right. Waxing and chocolate!
