My favourite food basics in Ottawa (yes I’ve tried almost all of them). Great selection and has everything I need. The staff are willing to walk and show you where things are and not just point. This location is cleaner and more organized than others as well.I had to deal with management and head office over an incident involving two staff members arguing back and forth with me in between; the follow up was quick and the issue seamed to have been handled very professionally which has me retiring to this location.

Love the products here, the produce, the can products, dry products are good price. I do not like the meat here, my choice! but everything else is good.Food basics have self check out.

I've been a customer at this Food Basics for years and it's consistently been the best choice for saving money on groceries. It often offers the best prices in Kemptville, especially with flyer deals. It doesn't have the biggest selection but I can often find everything I need. I love the addition of self checkouts for single shoppers like myself that don't have a full shopping cart. I can get in and out much quicker.
