This is my go-to marina! I have a sea-doo at my cottage in the Kawarthas and one in Cobourg, both of which are stored/winterized at Hastings Marine!Contrary to the last two reviews, I ALWAYS find the customer service to be top notch... Extremely friendly, incredibly informative and above all else, just great local people that are living and running a business in our community!They always go the extra mile, for example, greasing the bearings on all of my trailer's hubs. If you have a PWC, boat or ATV, I strongly encourage you to use the team at Hastings!

Probably one of the worst customer experiences I've had. Not the fault of staff as I was dealing with the President".I was referred to this store through yamaha. I was looking to purchase a small outboard engine. After confirming the price and availability I was looking forward to getting my new engine. Unfortunately

If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would. The customer service is terrible and they have no idea how to run a business. We dropped our bike off about a week ago and before going I called to make sure everything would be covered under warranty. Our bike kept on over heating and the fan wouldn’t kick on. We cleaned the bike multiple times thinking it was dirty. Anyways rest assured everything was covered as the bike is not even a month old. Well they call me to tell me it’s ready. We go the next day to go pick it up and they say everything was working and it was just plugged with dirt/mud. Now we are expected to come up with $135 to pay for their labour. 1. Call us if you decide you need to now charge us. 2. Make your customers aware. 3. Have some customer service skills and just don’t say “you won’t release the bike “ 4. If you are going to actually proceed and do stuff to my bike, you usually call the customer to okay it.Thankfully I record all my calls because on Monday I will be contacting the owner to let them know whom I was speaking with and how he assured me I wasn’t getting charged.We will never return or buy anything else with them.

Very appreciative of the staff that helped me get my seadoo out of the water and in storage before it broke. I was behind winterizing after being sick for a month and they jumped to help me the moment I called and even stayed open a bit later to make sure it got in the warmth! They probably saved my seadoo and I can’t thank them enough. Will definitely use them again!

Today I picked up my new boat from Hastings Marine and they didn't disappoint. Ken was really helpful and went out of his way to ensure the transaction went smoothly. He took the time to show me details of the boat and trailer I wasn't familiar with and to meet my timeline. The owner Shawn was fair with my trade in and took the time to explain in detail the pros and cons of my options for the deal and answered all my questions without rushing me. They even took care of the little details I hadn't considered like licensing and transferring ownership. I've been a customer for a couple of years now and have never been disappointed in any of the services I received or jobs they've done for me. I recommend Hastings Marine to anyone looking for great customer service, fair prices and work finished on time.

Horrible Customer Experience!! We took our new pontoon boat in for winter service and were told it would be over 2 weeks before they could look at it so left the mooring cover on to keep it clean. When we went to pick up the boat the mooring cover had been left unfastened after service, had collasped, was full of water and badly stretched. I emailed the president, Shawn Creasy, because apparently that's the only way to get hold of him, and he proceeded to tell me that unless you pay for storage they do not look out for your boat while it's in their care which is disgusting given people leave their expensive investments entrusted to him and his staff. I asked twice that Shawn call me to discuss my concerns in person and he NEVER had the DECENCY to return my calls. The entire staff ( with the exception of Lauren ) appear to have a We're right

Ditto on the zero star rating here. Owner of this joint tried to blame us for the collapse of the mooring cover, when it clearly was the owner/serviceman who did not secure the cover after removing it to access the helm. Don't take your boat or anything else here, nothing like blaming the customer and not taking any responsibility!
