Volkens Market and Furniture

I had the opportunity to visit this store while I was getting my car repaired close by. It’s big, really, really big. Lots of parking and lots of furniture, and a really nice bakery. The food and produce was okay for the area but I wouldn’t say it was Costco or Superstore style options. I also read that the Volken Academy next door for addictions and sobriety can work in the store as a program to re-enter the workforce making this a win-win operation to help out the issue that unfortunately plagues all of BC.

There is a snack bar, which I haven't tried yet, but the items seemed quite resonably priced. It serves coffee/tea, and hot foods after 10amThe bakery is amazing - huge selection and beautifully decorated cupcakes, perfect for special occasions.

We love shopping here and supporting this business. Great prices for produce and meat. We visit at least twice per month and make the drive there. There is an awesome younger gent that works there who always shares a good joke with us :)

This is great place (earlier known as Price Pro) for shopping. One must visit furniture shop where you will get best bargain price in Greater Vancouver.Another reason to buy from this place is that profit is invested for charity.One can also buy Grocery, Bakery, Plants & many other stuff.I bought furniture from here & can assure you that it is at best price in the area. Please buy from here & be part of charitable work.

I love this grocery store. I find they always have great prices for produce and plants. As well I love that they are a non profit and support people trying to change their lives with the John Volken Academy.

Much lower prices. Excellent selection of Organic eggs and Organic dairy products. Great rest area next to deli section to sit down and have a ready made meal before shopping. The best part is that every purchase helps change lives for the better.

This is another 0 out of 5 stars , Avoid this “ grocery “ store . This is not a regular store , I went there for organic produce as that is what they claim to be and oddly enough also a furniture store.. that should of been the obvious clue that this was going to be a weird place . Most notably the produce was All Old and 3/4 ROTTEN ! For about 1/2 price … it was literally the Garbage Produce that They Bought Second Hand From Save On Foods !! I couldn’t believe that they were actually selling Old Rotten Western Family Brand ( save on goods house brand ) produce that looked like it was from a dumpster, no word of a lie . We immediately exited the store after that . This store should of been branded as a Bargain Bin Discount Store NOT an organic grocery store … I Have never seen such a disgusting attempt to Sell LITERALLY GARBGE as “ food “ . Don’t waste your time unless you like spending Good Money on Bad 3/4 Rotten Food ..
