Bought a mattress recently and the salesperson, Emily, was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had a general idea what I was looking for and she quickly narrowed down some suitable options for me without pressure to buy. Set up was quick. So far so good!

This was my first time buying a new mattress and it couldn't have been a better experience! Melanie at the St. Laurent store was so helpful and knowledgeable; she walked me through the different options and explained which ones would be better for me. She made me feel taken care of!Also, the delivery was so easy! They texted me the morning of to let me know the two hour window they would be here, texted again when they were on their way and then called once they arrived. I live in a 6 unit building with no elevator and they were still super quick to bring it up and get rid of my old one!Overall, amazing AMAZING service! Cannot recommend them highly enough :D Very excited for my new bed!

Not too bad, although my 4th Mattress we bought from this location. We went back because our mattress had sunk on one side in only 2 years. This was the second time it happened.We were treated ok, but the manager felt we needed 6 - 10 pics of our mattress and underside to prove all was in good order to receive a credit on the new mattress which never came or was even acknowledged. ( and yes it was in Pristine order, the frame )But we were desperate for a new one for the spare room where I sometimes sleep, so I spent more to get a good mattress according to the all knowing manager. Never heard ANYTHING back from customer services or anyone after the purchase or on the credit, even if there was no credit on a sagging 5 year guarantee mattress after 2 years, I still would have liked a call. It was our 4th mattress and I still need to by 4 more at once before the May 2-4 weekend. I told that to them but no one from sales has called. They have my number. So only a 3 star in customer service and sales. Verified Customer!

I am more than satisfied with the entire experience i have had with mattress mart. I was abit overwhelmed looking for a reasonably priced mattress without compromising on the aspects of comfort, support and longevity . I got into a mattress mart branch by chance and ended up having the best selling experience with Evan at the st.laurent branch in ottawa. He was patient, super informative and could tell he was actually listening to what I was looking for in a mattress and provided me with best advise while leaving me at liberty to go with the mattress I actually liked. I Ended up getting another mattress after that pleasant experience. So far we have been getting comfortable sound sleep. Keep it up guys.

I had the pleasure of meeting Emily at the east end Mattress Mart location. She immediately made me feel at ease, and explained exactly why each mattress she advised me to try would be a right fit for me. She is extremely knowledgeable, and I appreciated her genuineness throughout the buying process.I ended up going to a few other places to explore my options before ending up at Mattress Mart, and after I left the store I wanted to sleep on it (no pun intended) and make a decision the next day. I sat in my car for a few minutes before going back inside to finalize my purchase, and one of the reasons I did so was because of how great Emily was! I felt no pressure from her like I did at the other places I visited.I haven’t received my mattress yet; but I truly feel that I made the right decision.Thank you Emily for making my first mattress buying experience a good one!

#1 in Ottawa... Sleep country false advertised and I went in according to their website expecting to pay 5k and either the false advertising or fact that I needed it for medical reasons the price jumped to 10k... Got the same thing from matress Mart for less then half... Less then 4k.... Furniture surplus ( all off st Laurent ) false advertised then salesman tried mocking me based on his IGNORANCE.... I wanted an electric bed, king, no split in the middle.... He scoffed at me saying no such thing.. they only come in two twin size.... Ya... OK BUDDY.... Walked right out.... Matress mart they took care of me .. what I NEEDED and the compassion and extras thrown in that the other places were charging........ Because of the great service and price, my 71 yr old mom went in the next day and bought one herself........ If you want a basic bed .. go there, I paid creme de la creme, you can walk away with something so much cheaper and way better then what you are currently laying on.... They have payment plans if you cannot afford to buy outright.... They were and will remain my number one matress place in Ottawa... Please, check them out before anyone else... Lowest priced guaranteed ! ( Ps... Kings down matress at sleep country, matress Mart has exact same one for less then half price.... ) Thank you guys and will surely be sending you business

First off I would like to start by saying that the sales staff at our local Mattress Mart were excellent. So the reason for the negative review is the defective mattress that we are now stuck with. Less than a year ago we bought a firm Kingsdown mattress for over $1200. Unfortunately about 6 months in, the mattress started getting noticeably softer. Several months later and it’s lost a significant amount of support and is no where near the firm mattress that it was supposed to be. A warranty request was submitted; however, Kingsdown will only consider mattress compaction for warranty claims. This mattress being so new has materials that still spring back very quickly so there is no significant visible depression by the time you get everything set up to photograph it as requested by Kingsdown. But the issue we are experiencing is not compaction and rather a degradation in structural support. Kingsdown did not respond to our follow up requests and Mattress Mart has not been able to do anything for us either. So without options or recourse we will need to buy a different mattress.
