Saint Mark Catholic Elementary School

The kindergarten teachers are not friendly to parents. They are miserable when we drop off the kids, and yell at you if you try to open the gate to let your kid in. God forbid you touch their sacred metal gate!The teacher holds it open and doesn't pay attention to kids coming or going. They say supervision starts at 8:40 but kids can wander in and out of the gate without anyone noticing.I have heard good things about this school, and I can only hope my daughter is getting a quality education. However the teachers are severely lacking in manners and etiquette. How are children supposed to learn from such bitter and unhappy people? The principle is genuinely a nice guy, and I hope he can have a heart to heart with his staff to find out why they are so unhappy.

I graduated from this school in 2012, and all I can remember is the amazing times I had there. A lot of my old teachers are still there, and it makes me happy to see that. These teachers watched me grow up from Kindergarten to Grade 8 and when I saw them outside of school they would recognise me even after years of not being there. I remember the school yard changing to what it is now and it makes me to happy to see how far the school has come. In the gymnasium, there are handprints all along the walls and I’m proud to say my handprint is part of the school and I can still point out which one is mine. The teachers and the school helped shape me into the person I am today, and even though it did have it’s downfalls sometimes, I am forever grateful for it.Mrs Garrett for Grade 1, I thank you. Mrs Chambers for Grade 3, I thank you. Mr Holmes for Grade 4, I thank you. Mrs Butson for Grade 7, I thank you. Mr Ricketts for Grade 8, I thank you. You made my schooling amazing and I will forever remember it.

This school is terrible. Staff are mean and gossip about students during their break. If your child is sensitive to yelling, I don't recommend that your child should go there. Most students are quite messed up and insane. The environment of this school is very unhealthy. Along with some staff, they yell at students for the most stupidest reason that could ever exist on this whole entire planet. Despite all of the mean and toxic staff and students, there are some good things about this school.

Amazing school and staff, the EA's are the best of the best!!! Not sure what happened to J.C.B. but when every other review 4+ stars that speaks volumes to the quality of your one star post.
