The best Chinese grocery store in Montreal. You could practically find anything in it if you like Asian traditional cuisine.They also have some good on sale vegetables. And they were always at a very good price.

Korean/Japanese items are priced slightly lower than the Jang Teu and other neighbouring grocery stores.They also carry a vast variety of goodies and snacks and a good selection of Indian spices.Perfect for students living nearby and for people working in Downtown, you don’t need to go all the way to Chinatown anymore for Asian groceries.

Great assortment! Reasonable prices and good weekly specials. I will keep returning to try new things, it is so fun to be in a clean new supermarket full of items one does not usually see. Fruit, veg, noodles, drinks, fab prepared dishes - like the Korean pancakes I bought today in the frozen foods section (Daifuku brand) and dumplings - so many to choose from, some locally made and others imported.

I’ve never had anything against this supermarket until I started having bad experiences with their meat. My partner and I bought chicken a while ago and when we got home to cook it, it had a sour smell and didn’t smell right. Just yesterday I bought some flounder which I prepared properly, and I got food poisoning. I highly do not recommend that you buy any meat from this market. On several occasions the meat and seafood has been off, sitting there for a while at the butcher or fish monger, or not handled properly. They do have a great selection of fruits and vegetables though.

No TAX! There're always offers!Could possibly find all of your needs/essentials for Asian cuisine (in terms of food). They're not that stocked on appliances and kitchen gadgets.They have mini fish and meat markets.They also got cleaning and hygiene products.

Marché Newon was one of the places I used to go to when first opened.The grocery is big and has various types of goods and foods.Mostly, I buy veggies and fruits from there. Generally the veggies & the fruits are fresh and last longer. The prices are fair but some are pricey especially the tropical fruits but sometimes they have good offers. If you crave tropical fruits (mangosteen, dragon fruit, lychee, etc) or would like to try them then Marché Newon is the best place to go.They have a great variety of spices and teas. They have all kind of frozen meats and products and fresh meats too but I have never tried them there.The location is strategic and accessible. It is good to give it a try.

*Actual closing time is 9 pm (not midnight).Very large Chinese/Asian supermarket downtown. However, selection is a little limited compared to store size and prices are slightly higher than surrounding asian markets for important products from certain countries.

The price is pretty good and u can find cheap ingredients here. Big Asian grocery and many selections. Some vegetables doesn’t look fresh, might been sitting here for a while.
