Rowleywood as the highway sign calls it is frankly a bit of a disappointment with no real attractions that imho distinguish it from a dozen other ghost towns.

It's neat, but nothing is actually accessible here, or at least not when we came. Most buildings we actually just old movie sets.Wasp nests EVERYWHERE!It was very odd, there was a girl who ca.e up ra domly asking if we wanted a tour, as we declined she proceeded to appear every time we turned a corner as if she was watching us. Kind of strange atmosphere but I guess that's what happens in a ghost town!

Was on my bucket list of abandoned/ghost towns to visit. And I wasn't disappointed. Small little town with a lot to see. The railstation, old bank, even the funeral home. Thankfully also a public bathroom as it is in the middle of nowhere.There is a community hall that you can go to as well, and they will give you a tour and they even have pizza parties apparently.There is private residences around so be mindful if you go exploring, and watch out for wasps.
