Quintessential art store. Crammed into two small rooms and full of supplies for any medium. The staff are very knowledgable.

Store owner was extremely helpful and resourceful. Actually gave me advice on what I needed and wasn't just trying to make a sale.

Today is july 3rd after canada day. They didnt post a sign on there door or on the front door to say they are closed today. I payed for parking. I think this store needs to get with the program and post there holiday hours.

Weirdly unhelpful...I needed to buy a larger yardage of wide canvas so I called to make sure they'd have it in stock. The sales person told me they weren't sure how much was on the roll, and that if they unrolled it and it turned out to be short of what I needed, I'd have to buy it anyway. Let's face it, would you buy $100 worth of canvas that ended up 2 feet short so you couldn't use it?No real attempt to help further, didn't offer any another solutions -didn't seem to care at all.I ended up calling Gwartzman's instead - They were out of stock but said they'd have it next week, guy was super nice and helpful and the price was better too.

Went in wanted to buy mod podge and they don't have it, so they offered something similar and told me it would work the same. I'm not really familiar with art supplies but I know the texture of mod podge from previous decoupage experience. When I got back and was trying to squeeze some glue out, the end of the tube just exploded and the glue is not even in glue texture, it had this grainy and uneven dry texture that looks almost like ricotta. I think this tube has been sitting somewhere for a long long time because the paper sticker label came off when I threw it away. Very disappointed on how they don't really check the products carefully.

I placed an order through my university back in November, it's now January my classes have started and the kit I paid $500.00 for is not at my disposal. I have assignments due and no tools for my drafting course to use to complete assignments.I have contacted the store and was advised they are waiting on # of students prior to mailing out, so what about the students who start in January! Then I was told items were on back order. I insisted my kit be sent and back ordered items sent separately. Dimitri agreed. That was on Monday its now Friday and the kit has still not been mailed and no email with a tracking #. I called again an am told it will be mailed today, highly unlikely based on my experience. I'm now forced to go purchase required tools.

Helpful, knowledgable staff with a wide variety of professional art supplies. Prices are reasonable as well.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. They told me that my order for school would be ready in 2 weeks and over a month later, I am still missing items! They did not communicate to me that my order would take longer. In the meantime, I don't have what I need for school. I suggest finding your art supplies somewhere else.
