Hartmann & Co did a fantastic job with our difficult upholstery project (tricky fabric, multiple patterns that needed perfect alignment) and I could not be happier with the results. Michael is extremely knowledgeable and had many suggestions on some final details (chair tacks, piping, refreshing the wood) that really gave our antique chairs a great look. I now have some truly unique chairs that I absolutely love.I would not hesitate to recommend Hartmann & Co.

We are so happy with the Hartmann experience! We came in with very specific needs (due to severe allergies) and Nick was able to show us the exact pieces that could work for us. He was extremely knowledgeable about materials and gave guidance as to what would work best for the needs of our young family. When our furniture arrived—both times, as we came back and made a second purchase—the pieces were both beautiful and suitable. I am prone to second-guessing, but haven’t questioned our choices once. I took my mom there to purchase a custom sofa and chairs as I had previously had a great experience with them when I purchased a bed. Nice to discover four years later they offered the same excellent service.A salesperson sat with my mom and asked her to describe her style, her home and needs and then showed her a range of products to look at. She was able to completely personalize her choice from the style of armrest, density of cushion, fabric and even the legs. A few months later, everything arrives and it's perfect! She's so happy with her choices, they perfectly fit her lifestyle and the quality is wonderful.It's so refreshing to find a place that listens to your needs and is so professional yet personal. I believe it's a family run business.

It was an absolute pleasure working with this company! They were absolutely accommodating, very knowledgeable, and were happy to answer all our many questions! Delivery was fast and efficient and everyone was so friendly and kind! We absolutely love our new furniture and we’ll definitely be purchasing from them again in the future! Highly recommend! Took 1930 style chair to be re -upholstered to Nick and his team. They created a beautiful chair. I highly recommend them.

For me, it started with the service. I placed an inquiry online and they followed up with a phone call. Who does that anymore?During the phone call, I got a quote and all the information I requested and was immediately made to feel comfortable with the knowledge and expertise!I brought my mother into the shop and was agin very impressed with the knowledge, and the care. My mom had 6 dining chairs belonging to her almost 50 year old set that were in need of reupholstery. She felt as good as I did about our visit and we moved ahead.The chairs came back today and they are stunning! We could not be happier with the entire experience. 10/10 recommend.Thank you, Hartmann & Co. Job well done!

Such a great store & so helpful. Everyone was nice & Nick was exceptional with his service. I called to get basic info on recliner options for my in laws & he gave me a lot of information I didn’t even think would be important. We ended up with 2 recliners that are not only beautiful but they are super comfy. They love them. Thank you sooo much Nick!

I have a very treasured antique chair, over 100 years old, which belonged to my Grandmother. It was beautifully upholstered, but needed a facelift to fit with the decor in my home. Michael Hartmann and his company were highly recommended to me by several people. I knew I could entrust them with my special chair. I had telephone conversations with Michael, his son, Nick and daughter-in-law, Liz. I found them all to be very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I just received my beautifully reupholstered chair and am so very thrilled with the finished product! Their craftsmanship and attention to detail are exceptional. They even shrink wrapped my chair to protect it until it arrived safely at my home. I had brought in a pub chair that had belonged to my father-in-law's mother. Not sure what year it is from but I had always loved the shape of it. Hartmann's quoted me 3 month repair timeline ( so busy! ) and 2 days before that time, they called to let me know it was ready. Here are the Before and After pictures. I am very happy with the work. So beautiful and it's a new wonderful addition to my home.

We had Hartmann custom make a large chair in 2016. We noticed recently that it was sagging in the front. Called Nick and brought it in for a look see after he viewed it he found 3 springs had broke. Even though it was over 6 years he assured us that they would fix it. We surprisingly pleased that even though they were booked till August he had it fixed in under a week and there was no charges.
