Racist colonial force, pretty much all I have to say

I went in to ask some questions about my rights as a citizen of Canada and to file a police report as being victim of an aggregation assault that happened 48 hours after it happened. Instead they became very angry at me and I said I don't want any trouble so I left. I went to the bus shelter to wait for the bus and arrested me at the bus stop

Everybody goes double the speed limit on ubc side streets and main roads. Tons of speed traps on UBC highway. Zero in UBC. Makes it super dangerous for all other road users.

I parked on NW Marine drive and have been for 10 days. yesterday i was towed from my spot. there were at least 10 other people towed. the signage there says no parking between 10 pm and 6 am. I parked at 8 am. the no parking sign is about 200 feet down the road. not visible from the direction i came in and there is no sign saying where the parking is allowed and then not allowed. we got no warning just towed for $160. i’m curious as to how this can be allowed? I am new to UBC as I am a practicum student. When I phoned UBC parking they said it was a posted no parking zone. It is not. Wow. I guess they are using the money for accurate parking signs and training for staff?!

Constant harassment and intimidation towards law-abiding citizens. Then something happens to you and they melt away, zero follow-up, zero empathy. The GRC/RCMP is a black stain on Canadian justice and the UBC detachment is no exception.

Was walking on the sidewalk above wreck beach after spending the afternoon on the beach, I was walking back to my truck when an rcmp officer pulled his vehicle onto the sidewalk and blocked me from walking any further. He then stated that he was investigating me for potentially breaking into the parked cars, as I was apparently looking into the vehicles as I was walking down the sidewalk.No other explanation other than I think you are looking into the vehicles as you are walking.I replied that I was walking back to my truck and being from Saskatchewan I was looking at the license plates of the parked vehicles to see where else people parked there where from.He when on to demand I give him my name and information even though I clearly explained that I was walking to my truck, I pointed to my truck about 10 vehicles away but he threatened to arrest me if I didn't give him my name.RCMP is out of controlNo respect for anyone's rights.Abuse of authority.Waste of taxpayer dollars

We are so grateful for the amazing officers which came to help us , I really wish I thought of grabbing their names .We stayed at travellodge by Wyndham Vancouver lions gate , and the receptionist was refusing to give us our deposit back for literally no good reason .They came and within minutes they helped us resolve everything with no issues .So grateful to have amazing officers like these 3 keeping us safe ❤️

I am both a citizen and an ethnic minority. I have had interaction with UBC RCMP as the victim of an assault, but they disregarded my request for help and justice and instead described the mainstream" attacker as "respectful" and trustworthy. I feel very much disappointed and disrespected by their institutional racism
