The comedy itself was top notch - I enjoyed every performer, including the phenomenal compere. Unfortunately, being a nightclub, and having lots of breaks, allowed several people to get more and more drunk and, although the comedians handled some loud mouths like pros, it was hard to enjoy with drunk people getting louder and louder. The waft of marijuana in the background didn't really help. The comedians really deserve better, but I wasn't 100% comfortable, so probably wouldn't return.

Went for a stag-do and had a good time. The mc Stella was great, she worked with the crowd very well and made sure the laughs kept coming between comedians. We had a mix of comedians of which one was brilliant, one was good and one wasn’t great but others found him funny.Having been to the Edinburgh fringe many times I was a bit disappointed in the venue, at the fringe they can turn a car park into a comedy venue but somehow this always felt like a run down nightclub with flimsy garden chairs and that nightclub smell you only notice when you’re in one sober. It was a laugh in a hole.

Well.... you can't pick your acts.... but we had poor seats behind a pillar which blocked the view, poor sound unable to hear them properly, the short drinks are poor quality... white rum!!! Generally wouldn't come back again... The last act Andy White is worth seeing he was actually funny.

I headlined last Saturday and was an utter joy. A few hen dos/ stag dos/ birthday parties and couples made it a lovely mix of audience members and seem to be a sell out at around 170 people. Really looking forward to going back in October. Give it a go if you are in a group and want something everyone will enjoy.

The acts were good quality, but the venue was horrendous it didn't really enable us to enjoy it. The toilets were full of mould and a genuine health risk. Beer sold in cans only. Sat at picnic furniture for the event in a freezing damp and dated room. Would not go again

None of the acts advertised appeared, also says table service on website and there isn't any, lucky to get a table as most are expected to sit on cheap garden chairs, drinks are very over priced, acts that did appear were terrible. do not waste your money, go somewhere else.Response to your reply... if you deliver what is advertised then you would have..like you say, people who leave happy! we were happy because we left early, and to blame illness for the change of every act is blatantly fraudulent. I never leave bad reviews but I don't want anyone to travel as far as I did for such a waste of money. Best of luck with future endeavours .

Don’t waste your money. The venue is absolutely terrible, the drinks are incredibly expensive (£5.50 for a 300ml can of lukewarm beer) and they don’t serve wine. The comedians aren’t much better, the first two were so bad people were laughing out of pity and it was all a bit awkward. Quite a few people gave up and left halfway through. The last comedian was at least quite funny but couldn’t make up for the first two or the horrendous venue.

What an absolute waste of money! The venue is disgusting. It absolutely stinks and the toilets are filthy. We walked out after the second act and quite honestly don't know how we lasted that long.

Where do I start? Paid £25 entry so was ripped off from the start! Absolutely ripped off with drinks luke warm cans Venue's is an absolute dive toilets are another level of disgusting. The so called comedians made me cringe with how bad they were. But I have to be fair the last guy from Cornwall was the best of bad bunch. If you're thinking about going here,DONT! save your money go anywhere else but here to the organisers of the venue you're a bunch of rip of bast@rds
