Really great service and decent food. Smaller location that is well laid out to use the space. The staff is really fantastic and super attentive.

We came the first time for brunch with 9 people.It was really a cozy place, the menu is very diverse with many dishes. Although it was very busy, the service was really good and professional. The meal was better than what I expected and we did not have wait long time.Good experience and highly recommend.

My fiancé and I decided to come here for breakfast on Jan 29. While here, there was some mixup or something where we were left unattended for 20+ mins, without so much as water being dropped off. Having worked in the service industry for years in the past, I brought the issue up to the hostess who was nothing but lovely and kind, who was quick to rectify the issue. From there, we had our orders placed and food out in under 10 minutes. The owner (who was working in the kitchen preparing food) even came out to speak with us and was incredibly kind and apologetic.What makes a 5 star rating to me is the lengths a place is willing to go to ensure the customers have a good experience. Despite the hiccup at the beginning, both my fiancé and I had a delicious meal, great service overall, and definitely intend on coming back to Pur and Simple on Young St.!

Amazing brunch/breakfast! We try very hard to *not* go every weekend, but there’s only so much willpower to resist! Really great customer service here, the wait list system is awesome (always check ahead to see wait times on sat/sun, it gets busy!) Favourites on the menu include the eggs bennys, skillets, and waffles! The other locations around HRM are great too but the North End one is my favourite!

Fist time eating here. Very clean open dinning area. Our server was great. We were a party of 3 and all had a different brunch selection. Our orders were filled in a very short time and we were not disappointed. Food was presented beautifully on the plate and the food was delicious. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Pretty good set up and food, service was nice especially considering that they were about to close in 50 mins when we walked in. Plenty of choices, coffee was decent. Just wish they had peameal bacon.

Went for brunch when we arrived in Halifax to see our daughter and brought her and her roommate out for some brunch.We had joined the wait list online and were able to get a table as promised by the site A+ now if you’ve been to any of these resto they are locally owned but by a chain. It was jammed busy but definitely very busy and noisy. Our poor server seemed overwhelmed with the amount of orders but she did her best.We had your typical breakfast and enjoyed the food. If you want real maple syrup it’s an extra charge. So I’m not sure what is bottled on the table but definitely odd that you don’t get a lot for the extra charge for three fair size pancakes.I had a skillet and with one egg which was plenty. Overall a decent breakfast.

My family and I come here often and are consistently welcomed by the kindest and best staff. The food is delicious, and i haven’t tried anything on the menu that i didn’t enjoy. The restaurant is spacious and the decor is aesthetically pleasing. It is perfect for families and children, and we always feel at home. The owner's top priority is to harbour a comfortable, peaceful, and welcoming environment, which they have done flawlessly.

It's a big deal to me that I find celiac-safe food. I'm always anxious to try new places but I was not disappointed today! Service was above and beyond, they were more than willing to make any changes, and the food was very fast! I will be back
