I am so appreciative of the care Dr. Michaud and his staff have provided over the years. They are dedicated and work such long hours to accommodate a large workload. The ladies at the front desk are always friendly and very intelligent. The technicians are skilled and pleasant. Regardless of the many other tasks they have going on, they have always accommodated me picking up food and medications on my schedule. When it comes to getting results back, Dr. Michaud is always quick to respond and prevents unnecessary escalation of the pets condition.I still remember our first appointment with Dr. Michaud. It was very thorough and completely unrushed. He is one of the absolute best vets I have ever had. I have dreaded him retiring someday. We recommended him to many friends who have reported back to us with their positive experiences after seeing him. He considers the well being of the animal above his own invested interests and is a wonderful teacher to pet parents. Eventually my cat would happily jump into his carrier when he knew he was going to the vet. I think he began to associate it with feeling wellness. He was calm in the office and trusted all of the staff even when they would have to take his blood.I love that Dr. Michaud looks at the cat from many perspectives and involves the owner in the goals of care. Oj visited other offices that missed his diagnosis but Dr. Michaud carefully observed and listened to my observations attentively; he diagnosed it accurately. He is the only vet that was ever able to make OJ better and restore his quality of life. I want to thank him very much for giving us a lot more time with our cat.At the end of OJ's life we brought him to Dr. Michaud because we wanted him to feel safe. It was just me who felt afraid and anxious from a past experience that left me traumatized. This time was so different though... Dr. Michaud picked a nice quiet time to give us his full attention. Oj got up on the table and endearingly sniffed Dr. Michaud as we chatted about how well he had done up until then. We remembered his journey together and I brushed him affectionately. I believe the cat felt this appointment was no different than any other and when he was given the medication it was so gentle that he didn't even notice. We continued to chat amongst him and pet him. He went to sleep so peacefully that I had to confirm whether he was even gone yet. I was allowed to spend as much time with him as I wanted afterward and when I requested to make a keep sake at the last moment, it was Dr. Michaud who rummaged through his desk to find me some ink and a nice poster card. He even helped! He never made me feel like my emotions were too much and I even think that day, his kindness cured me of my suffering too.We still have two other cats. I will never bring them anywhere else. If you want to be treated like family and you want competent and ethical care than I suggest you look no further.

I take my dog here and receive amazing vet service when I do. They do thorough examinations and are reasonably priced. My difficulty is the inability to reach anyone most of the time. To book appointments is difficult. I often do not receive callbacks and have to call myself. Also, I once had an emergency with my dog and called the emergency phone number with no response. We have since moved to another vet for easier appointment booking and peace of mind for emergencies.

Best vet! I've seen many comments about the wait time, which I don't understand the complaint...I wait for at least 1.5 - 2 hrs to see my own family doctor, this isn't any different. Things come up while working in the medical field, it is inevitable.He's very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He takes the time to properly inform us about any concerns we may have.The staff is also very kind and compassionate and are very helpful.Thank you to the team at vet de la Montagne!

I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. We brought in our dog with a lump in her throat and we were refused a visit because we didn't have a mask on. Discriminatory, disgusting and appalling. He did not even have the decency to speak with us directly, he had his receptionist refuse us.

I got my cat vaccinated there yesterday. We waited for an hour in a room waiting for the doc, understandable, i know delays happen.The doc did not introduce himself, he was very rude and very cold with the animal. Did not take care of him at all, rushed the vaccine and then sent us on our way.My kitten vommited twice and had diarrhea that night, following the vet recommendation, we called the vet to tell him about it. He asked us to take temperatures and we did, turns out the temperature was normal.He was then almost insulted that we called him and was very rude.Never going there again. I know this vet is an expert and knowledgeable but he needs to retire, he is clearly too bitter to be working at this job.

Asked if they take new patient, then was asked about the condition of my animal. After the tech asked the vet, I was denied an appointment. They pick and choose on how much money they would make.

Had an amazing service through Dr. P. Michaud. My dog had some issues and had me and my girlfriend truly worried for him, but Dr. P. Michaud reassured us a lot about the situation and took great care of Kanouk during the appointment.

After spending 740$ at the emergency hospital in Ottawa and getting NO result or diagnostic on Saturday, I saw Dr. Michaud on Monday. He performed a life saving surgery (really bad uterine infection and loss of blood) on Tues morning. The compassion, professionalism and honesty shown by Dr. Michaud and the staff I met (Martine and Marguerite) helped us get through. Thank you!!You have restored my faith in people.

Great service! The entire staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This clinic was the only hospital to promptly book an appointment. Dr. Michaud took very good care of my 12 year old cat. He even called to follow up to see how my cat Charlie was doing. I highly recommend Dr. Michaud and his clinical staff. Thank you so much for everything. My cat is happy and healthy again thanks to you.
