Shoppers Drug Mart

Every couple weeks or so I call the pharmacy for a prescription refill, I sometimes deal with one pharmacy worker who is very unkind saying I'm to early and don't need it. I have to argue with her I have severe asthma and can't work without it. She continues to being rude to me, I could hear her over the phone arguing with the other pharmacy team members then asking when I could pick it up. I have her a time then she hung up on me without saying anything else

Honestly if it was possible to give no stars I would I asked for medication to be transferred a week in advance that wasn’t done then the prescriptions weren’t ready on time so I went 5 days without any medication due to incompetence and the Canada weekend

The website says they have walk-in flu shots. They do not. Apparently if only one pharmacist is working they have a rule against doing any flu shots at all. And some days they only do Covid shots. None of this info is on the website. So if you have to go to this location phone before hand and find out what crazy rules they have on that particular day. Or go to a drugstore that’s more professional and businesslike. The pharmacist I spoke to was incredibly rude. She didn’t explain that sometimes they didn’t do flu shots she just said “NO“. During a deadly pandemic it’s really great when the people you get vaccines from are as disorganized as possible. Never seen anything like this at any other drug stores. Won’t be going back.

I come every month to this location and while the pharmacist are nice enough the floor employees are horrible. We are currently in lockdown and when I entered the store there was no employee upfront to ask me the covid questions. When I got to the pharmacy counter a staff member ran up from behind me, pushed me and said that I was ignoring her (She was no where in sight when I entered the store) , caused a scene and made it seem as if I was in the wrong. I would highly recommend avoiding this shoppers drug mart. They need to get staff who know how to respectfully speak to customers.

I try not to do negative posts or reviews. There is too much negativity out there. I have been to this location several times over the last 3 months to an exchange and expired naloxone kit that they advertise in having throughout the store not once have I been able to retrieve an unexpired and unlock some kit nor do they have an answer as to when they're going to have them. They were quite rude and abrupt. I'm disappointed as this is a high risk area for addiction related overdoses

it's quite small, the store is well-organized and clean. The staff members are friendly and helpful, which enhances the overall shopping experience. It's convenient to have a nearby pharmacy with a range of products available. While the size may limit the selection compared to larger stores, it's a great option for everyday essentials. Overall, I'm satisfied with my experience at this Shoppers Drug Mart branch.

On Saturday I tried to have 3 prescriptions transferred to this location from the Barton store and the pharmacy representative I spoke with here said it would be no problem. Later they called me less than an hour before they closed to tell me they couldn't get in touch with Barton and would be unable to fill my prescriptions. As a result of notifying me so late in the day I couldn't get the prescriptions filled and because of the Easter weekend it was Monday before I was able to go to the Barton store. The ineptitude of the pharmacy at Hess left me in the difficult position of not having meds for 2 days. Of course at Barton they told me they'd faxed the prescriptions to Hess on Saturday and now the folks at Barton have to refill them while I have to wait. As a result of this I will never go to the Hess location again - they've proven how inconsiderate they really are.

Great little Shoppers Drug Mart. It’s very small so don’t expect to get a huge variety of stuff but for a quick stop it’s great. The hours are also typical business hours.
