Balsam Dental Centre

My wife and I have been patients of Balsam Dental and Dr Kim and her staff for many years. We get tremendous service there. Dr Kim is the best dentist I have ever experienced. Her concentration. talents and commitment are outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about this dental office.

Hands down Dr. Kim is the best dentist in Vancouver with exceptional stuff members! Took me in right away due to my emergency dental issue, was exceedingly kind and was sublime at addressing my issue! Would highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr. Kim for over 8 years now. I worked for 30 years with many professionals in the medical field and I can say Dr. Kim is one of the best I’ve met. I saw her on a recommendation from a family friend and she fixed some pain issues I was having with my teeth. She is thorough, caring and most important of all—gentle. I first started seeing her in her Surrey practice, and even though her Vancouver location is far from our house, it's still worth the drive!

We had a family appointment at Balsam Dental and it was a great experience. I've been seeing Dr. Kim for years, but it was my husband's first appointment with her and our toddler's very first dental cleaning/check up. Dr. Kim and her staff were friendly, professional and coordinated our family visit extremely well - we were impressed! It was a great overall experience for us. We highly recommend this dental centre and have told others about Dr. Kim and her wonderful staff.

Dr. Kim is a very professional, capable, and highly skilled dentist. She, her Dental Hygienist, Lynette and her entire staff are highly competent, friendly and helpful. Her offices are up-to-date, spotlessly clean and appear to comply with all COVID-19 safety requirements. I have been her patient for many years and happily recommend using her services.

I've went to several dental clinics before finding Balsam Dental and I haven't gone to another place after visiting this place. Their dental hygienist, Lynette, and Dr. Kim are both gentle and detail oriented, they truly make your dental visits as painless as it can be. Even their receptionist, Chelsea, is very efficient and helpful. The clinic has always been spotless and they've continued to keep the place safe and clean during this COVID period. I have full confidence in their team! =)

I've been really happy with Dr. Mina Kim and her staff. Everyone is really friendly, and the facilities are really clean, not to mention the TVs to watch! I find Dr. Kim to be very thorough and especially great with young kids. My son had some fear and anxiety, but Dr. Kim was so patient with him and made him feel comfortable. The little prize at the end was a nice touch!

I was very impressed with Dr Kim on my first visit. In a bad fall I had knocked out a tooth and broken my mandible in many places. After examining me she described the choice of a tooth implant and a bridge and the difficulties and advantages with each. She discovered an apparent unhealed bone break in the x-rays that my surgeon was unaware of. And she referred me to an orthodontist who could improve the bite of my molars. Overall I was impressed by her knowledge and professionalism.As well I was very impressed by the receptionist, Chelsea, also knowledgeable and professional, and easy to communicate with. I was left with a very good impression on my first visit.On my second visit I had the pleasure to have my teeth cleaned by one of the hygienists, Lynnette. She seemed especially knowledgeable and experienced. And Dr Kim checked my teeth, found a shallow cavity and on measuring, noticed an improvement in my bite since the last visit. As before, I was impressed by her care and attention to detail.
