Just before the long weekend in sept. I went to 4 other salons, to get my 4yr old son a haircut before starting JK. All of them required booked appointments. Just By fluke we found Scissors and Strands, with only a short wait, my son got a fashionable style, appropriate for attending a Christian academy. Karen the owner was fabulous with him. This is our new one and only beauty shopThank u Karen

There are three ladies that work here including the owner and they do a good job every time I go there no problem the girls are friendly they talk to you I love going there they do a good job on my hair thank you ladies

Booked apt for myself yesterday, on confederation for today at 930. Arrived at 910, place was not opened even though to be open at 9, waited till 930 and called, no answer. Called Wellington St location. Told me they would call me back in 10 mins to let me know situation. At 947 still no answer. I called back and was told boss was coming but not sure when they would arrive. Very rude on phone. Not professional. 10am still no one. Will not be returning!

The staff are wonderful and very friendly. They are easygoing and I never felt rushed. It's worth the drive to St.Thomas and I will continue to go there.

I would never go here again! She did not listen to us about not using the clippers with my son. We have issues with getting his hair cut in the first place and after we told her not to use the clippers she did anyways before we could even notice. I will never go back
