You are in luck Port Moody! Dr Buxton has been my vet for approximately 25 yrs and she has moved to your area. She is knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and attentive. She is everything you would want in a vet, going through good times as well as sad times with your furry loved ones.

Would not take my pets anywhere else. Dr. Siegert and staff truly care for animals and it is clear in their work. My partner and I rescue senior dogs, and Port Moody Animal hospital are truly experts with the unique needs that our dogs have. We are so grateful for the work they do. Ethical, honest, and compassionate. We have used them for 5 years and could not dream of a better vet.

I had an excellent experience at this clinic. We are new to Port Moody and my dog suddenly became sick, so I came to call this clinic based solely on Google reviews. All of the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful especially since I had to come to the appointment with my 3 young children. They accommodated the chaos and showed so much care for our precious dog. Dr. Isabelle was wonderful and explained everything thoroughly, gave me options and quotes.

Dr. Blondel and the staff at PoMo Animal Hospital are the best I've ever experienced. I've had many visits to various vets in the lower mainland with my two rescues, who have complex medical and behavioural issues with mixed results but here it has been nothing but the best.In one instance I presented something Dr. Blondel had never seen before and, by the time I pulled up to the driveway, she called me back after consulting with a specialist colleague and established a diagnosis. They truly care and do their best for your pets. I have complete trust in this clinic.

I took in my one year old Labrador in today to get him neutered. The lady was so kind. She was patient, and I could tell she loves her job. She took such amazing care of my baby. Would 100% recommend people to come here

Being very particular as to the Doctor of my pets, there is no doubt Dr. Buxton is everything you want in a vet. She is compassionate, caring, knowledgeable and patient. And unlike a lot of vets that don't perform surgery, she is an excellent surgeon. That makes her complete. Like some of her other patients, we follow her from South Burnaby Veterinary Hospital despite her new location is double the distance.

We brought our puppy in for his second round of shots, our first visit to this vet. We told the vet this was our first time with a dog of our own. They brought him into a second room (lured him using treats, they did not tell us what they were and just assumed they were fine for him) and closed the door. We were shocked as the reason for this wasn't explained at all. Why is it necessary to hide what they are doing? They opened the door when he was on the table and we saw them administer only 2 of the vaccinations (one needle to his shoulder and spray to his nose). He still itches the spot aggressively on his shoulder where they gave him the shot we witnessed. The vet did not warn us about vaccine injuries (he was sick with fever, overall sensitivity where he would yelp if he tensed his body, thick mucous drool, lethargy, and a cough for the next few days) and did not warn us not to bring him around other puppies who had not yet received their shots (another vet recommended to avoid this for a few weeks). We had plans that weekend to spend with another puppy and thankfully the other puppy was okay afterwards. We told this vet that this was our first dog and she gave us ZERO of the extra and important information. She also pushed the flea and tick vaccination, where another vet has since informed us that there have been no lime disease reports in dogs in the area. We live in a city and if needed it is easy to make an essential oil tick spray and not risk the seizures associated with the vaccination. She gave us no holistic options and seemed to be very moulded by the medical system. It is clear that this vet doesn't care to give important information to her customers that could support a dogs wellbeing and would rather just take customers money. I will not be going back and would not recommend it to anyone unless they don't care for their pets wellbeing.

Just moved to the area and took my older cat Warlock in for a check up, the staff was great, everyone was gentle with him and they were quick and thorough with their care. Also as someone with disabilities the clinic was well set up and I felt comfortable in the waiting room and exam room and was not forced to stand. Very happy to have PMVH be my new vet for Warlock and his little brother Sam.

Our 3 month old puppy got in to something toxic in the backyard and we had to rush him to the emergency hospital we did not like the way staff handled our very emotional and stressful encounter there and after paying 1k there he still needed to be transferred to another vet as they closed at 8am and he still wasn’t better. We tried the vet I normally go to in Newport but they didn’t have a doctor in until 11 so we called here and they got made room for us to come right away. Everyone there were incredibly caring and understanding, they could tell what a hard night it had been for us and little Zuko and were very empathetic of that. He is doing much better now and the vets here were very informative as to what was going on with him. This will be my new vet for all of my puppy needs from now on.
